Morrow is STOUT!! Her on the block will be dangerous w/ Angel attacking the other side
She doesn’t usually play on the block. Her video shows that she plays facing the basket and takes a shite ton of shots, including 3’s.
I worry how she will mesh with this team when she is used taking almost all the shots.

quote:The same is true of HVL, btw. Both AM and HVL basically were their team, one-woman shows. Both pulled the trigger on numerous shots per game they'd not have to take with LSU's supporting cast.

At the same time, both want WNBA gigs. So they'll need to demo skills which translate to that level. For HVL, PG skills are paramount. For AM, demonstrating defense and rebounding vs bigger, taller athletes in the SEC, and improving her 3pt shot %.
Doing their own thing would be cross-purposed to those goals.

Agreed HVL is coming here to be a true point and show the league she can not only score but run an offense. I would think her assist per game go up but she should not have that big of a dip in scoring. If Morrow comes she will play the Williams role with a little more scoring and the ability to extend. She is deadly in the mid court. She will be able to take a few threes but if her percentage doesn’t improve Kim won’t let her her just camp out and take three point shots all game.

All of this. Every sentence.

I wouldn’t worry about anything, if Kim wants you, you’ll mesh. In Kim’s second year, she built from the ground up, took what she had and made it work. It only gets easier from here. She’s laid the foundation, she has a great staff, almost the entire staff and support group came with her from Baylor. They knew her vision at LSU, they wanted to be a part of it.
The staff, Players and Morrow were enjoying LSU Baseball. The home runs added to the LSU atmosphere.
Standing room only, showed Morrow, the LSU Fans back the Tigers.
Enjoy the Golden years folks!
