The first game wasn't very encouraging for guys on the fence. It may be a while.

Losing to Mississippi State doesn’t help. Just expect Signing Day and if anything happens before then then cool.

I would think ESD for most schools now. Everything is just so in flux that even recruits are trying to figure out their plans and what they should do.

That's got to suck for some of these kids that this is your one chance to be wined and dined by these schools and enjoy the process, and they are having to make these decisions somewhat blind unless they visited their junior years.

I get they still have things like Zoom, but there's something different about actually being in the stadium, actually sitting down in the coach's office, actually walking through the facilities that web videos can't do justice

OU lost another one. Can't do anything but help us in any battle we're in.

Everything points to it remaining. Kids that want to sign will sign. Those that don't, won't. No reason to eliminate it. The kids that are gonna enroll early will do so whether it's there or not.

Leigh and Wheaton. Leigh is a top priority for us. Wheaton would be great but with Kiner committed he is not as big a get even though he is a bigger fish.

Bigger issue here is that OU is 0-4 in CFP and the Big12 will prolly not get a team in this yr even withthe Pac12 out too. These guys want to have a fighting chance to play for a championship

Another question for the board. We have so many edge guys committed in this class, do you think the coaching staff reshuffles the board a bit to let one or two of those go and go after more players for the secondary or perhaps more offensive lineman?

Think it would be Carter before Brown. Who knows though. They took Brown after Carter and both seems like too much. Guess it really comes down to where the staff actually sees those 2 playing positionally.
Personally I'd wait it out a bit to see how things look heading into the early signing period with visits in January and who holds off signing. Don't want a replay of last year where we started cutting kids expecting commitments and then whiffing. We need those edge guys.
