I don't know if he's torn between three teams or two. From all indications regarding recruiting sites and such, it's a Texas versus Ohio State battle. If that is the case, I wonder why he wouldn't just tell the LSU staff they are out the picture? If a school has been eliminated, why not let them off the hook?

It became apparent shortly after his official visit to LSU than Anthony Cook was having a difficult time making a final decision prior to the October 30 deadline he initially set for himself. Now that he has postponed his announcement, it is clear the Tigers made quite the case to the Cook family, and most importantly Anthony Cook himself, that Baton Rouge could be the destination for him.

Numerous phone calls reveal that Cook intended on committing to Texas, but the LSU visit exceeded expectations. The LSU staff continued its push after the visit, and Cook is listening. Throughout much of his recruitment, Cook always appeared to be looking for every reason possible not to sign with the Longhorns. A recent push by Texas commits and staff members gave them the surge they needed, but a strong week for LSU backed away from being a Texas lean.

Ultimately, we think LSU pulls this one out, with Cook making his announcement by the end of November.

It would have been better if he would have quoted and properly attributed it.

Well... have to give Raymond and CEO credit for 'stopping' the UT commit. Now they just have to take it the rest of the way.

To do that means we have some momentum with him. Pleasantly surprising to me.

Maybe not, who knows what's going on in his mind except him. It was just my thought's on the matter. Don't see a viable reason to keep a program interested when they have been eliminated. Then again, regardless the program he chooses, if it's that close who knows what he will actually do when it's time to put ink on the paper.

Seems like our fans are as split about his decision as he is. Land him, O!

He's coming to texas. He's torn about lsu. Big time. Somebody has put the vodoo on him.

Texas doesn't have the lead we would like to. I'm saying 51 49 texas. It's super close.

He wants to come to LSU. He thinks he should go to Texas. Hopefully he does what he wants to do, and not what he thinks he's obligated to.

51-49 Texas, eh? Sounds familiar.

They don't produce, period

Big 12 Picks in 2017: 14

LSU had 8 players taken alone, more than half of that entire conference

That’s what I thought. The whole Texas should have the lead comment seemed like bullshite. They should lead because?

From Cook’s own mouth, the only reason he would pick Texas is if he wants to play in his home state. He thinks he’ll be better developed at both LSU and Ohio State over Texas.
