When I first met him he was wearing a LSU Baseball cap, LSU football shirt, LSU shorts, LSU socks, and LSU converse. I never saw him again after that summer but talked to him through my dad. He also runs a website.
Well thanks for the info, doesn't really bring resolve to my rival question, but ....

it was after the Saban hiring, and after hearing stories of Saban putting date rape in a LSU girl's drink at Fred's Bar

Man, if I was RR all this negitive talk from my home state would bother me
Or maybe you already paid in advance for the new T-Shirt.

LOL, fair enough. I just don't consider it a true rivalry unless both teams fans view it that way, but keep it up, ya'll might just get it there one day and your on the right track. Not sure you'll like it as much when we start having the same feelings though.....

And too much cotton candy and candied apples which goes back to the whole toothless thing.

he'll play as a true frosh at both schools..actually, he would probably play most at Oklahoma and get more balls than Bama and LSU

debateable since he probably hasn't met any of the players and coaches more than a handful of times and really doesn't know any of them to the degree he does Deangelo Benton, Josh Downs, and Kentravis Aubrey

style of offense
..we and OU pass, Bama does not

you've taken one single quote and decided that the school who recruits him the hardest is going to win.
again, I'm not putting words in his mouth... he said this publicly himself. Are you suggesting he is lying or doesn't know what he wants?

Yep gingivitis is the leading cause for tooth decay in Alabama.... they call it the silent killer

Bama fans don't view us as a rival? When LSU looks at Bama through the 2 crystal footballs here, they don't see much of a rival either.

So business must be slow, maybe with the economic turmoil you change you business approach to sheep instead of Gumps

Sweet mercy, a dentist in Alabama? I bet you could buy all of us twice over.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Not on an open forum, for whatever reason, moderators etc. Here, take a look for yourself, just don't bring any trash talk on there, otherwise you'll get booted quick.
One of the best part about this board is that the admins let you post whatever, for the most part. I mean you have to type something pretty bad or be persistently annoying to get banned, and even then the admins let most people back after a brief "timeout".
I am quite familiar with your crappy Bama board whose mods ban you for disagreeing with anything any Bama fan says or posting anything the slightest bit negative about Bama.
It's lame. Notice that we have a ton of Bama fans over here, and you have next to no LSU fans over there.
That is because TD.com=awesome. This board attracts fans from all over the country and there is a reason for that.

I'm suggesting that you took a single quote and placed waaaaaaaaay too much importance on it.
It's illogical. And, like I said, you'd have to be an idiot to think that he's going to choose the school solely based on who has recruited him teh hardest...especially when it's plain to anyone with two eyes that several schools are recruiting him very hard.
You can choose to be an idiot if you want.
Personally, I think Randle is a smart kid (very smart compared to the average recruit) and to him, this is a complex, multi-variable decision. My guess is that he's weighing the pros and cons of everything, thinking about it hard, and will eventually come to the conclusion that one of the schools recruiting him is the best fit.
Don't take my word for it though. I have no inside information. But, rather than asking his brother who was Randle's favorite team growing up, ask him if his decision will be made simply based on who recruits him the hardest.
Idiot.

No, business is good, all the toothless gumps have to become toothless someway right? But seriously, do ya'll really think that we have more rednecks then LA, I'm pretty sure it's about even, if we have more it's just cause our state is bigger.

To answer the rival question it started back in the early 60's when Charlie Mac becand coach of LSU, he was a former player for Bryant when Bryant coached UK, of couse after Coach Mac was let go after the 79 season and Bear was put out to pasture a few yrs. later the rivalry whaned, it just needed something to get it going again and just because you dont think of it as a rivalry doesnt mean others don't either there are plenty of fans on both sides including me that remember and still consider it one...
