My thoughts:

1. Sopsher - Until he signs I will feel very uneasy about him. Will not be surprised if he goes to Bama

2. Kardell - all ours

3. Stingley - I am very confident we get him. He knows he likely starts immediately and we are pressing hard for him

4. Emery - much more confident than I was a couple months ago. I think he will wear P&G. Glad too because he's my favorite RB and will make a great duo with Davis.

5. Devonta Lee - Not hearing much from us so I would say a likely Bama lean.

6. Palmer - LSU lean, but we are looking at a lot of WRs including Gunnel's team mate. Probably depends on where we stand with Gunnel.

7. Starks - White's success at MLB makes the move to LSU very attractive to Starks and he signs with us.

8. Christian Harris - I just don't have a feel for where he is. I think it depends on who our other targets are and where he fits.

9. Ray Parker - Strong probability he chooses LSU and switches from TE to OT

10. Devin Bush - I feel good about him, but not as confident as Stingley

So if I had to predict today I would say:
Kardell
Stingley
Emery
Starks
Parker
Bush (maybe)

That would be a complete disaster if we only got 5 or really even 6 of those guys.

To me, reasonably I think we can pull 9 of them now, where that stands after the season remains to be seen, but I really only feel like Harris is the only "little to no shot" Top 10 guy. I'd say we end up with 7 or 8.

It shows Lee and Harris at 50% and Sopsher being at 94% is a pipe dream at this pt.

At this juncture...6/10 would be a reasonable prediction.

No it wouldn't. You draft on needs, not ranking. The only player I see as a big miss would be Sopsher. The ones I think we "need" outside of him are likely going to LSU. He's a big get and I would be ecstatic if we got him plus the ones I named as likely. We will still make runs at big names from other states and filling needs with talent across the country is just as important as putting up "the wall". I would really love for us to pull Green back in and recruiting the Houston area remains a priority.

Sophser and Devonta are Bama.

Think we’ll get the rest or 7/8.

It wouldnt be a disaster if we got only 5 of the Top 10 players in our state ALL of which hold offers currently and have for quite some time? Really?

We don't "Draft" at all, we recruit, and we've offered all 10 of these guys, and a while ago. We want them all and there's no questioning that, MAYBE Harris is the only major question on how bad we want him, but we certainly have been pressing the other 9. Don't kid yourself. We wouldnt turn down any of them if they wanted to commit right now.

LOL, I didn't realize I typed draft vs recruit but you know what I meant. 2 of the 10 I'm unsure of are WRs and we don't have much difficulty recruiting WRs believe it or not. Sopsher I mentioned would hurt and that leaves Harris which most agree is not coming here. That leaves the 6 that are must gets. Outside of Sopsher who do you think we have to have that isn't a heavy LSU lean?

Oh Really?

"On Wednesday, three players previously committed to the Crimson Tide -- five-star linebacker Quay Walker, defensive tackle Bobby Brown and linebacker/athlete Vernon Jackson -- ended up elsewhere."

If that was the case he probably wouldn't have lost a 5-star LB, 4-star DT and a 4-star SDE/LB on signing day.
