Alfred Blue isnt that good...I saw him play 3 times this year and a couple times last year. He is biggest problem is holding on to the football, but I guess that can be fixed at LSU.

There is a good chance that BOTH Lache AND Blue will be in this class. The question is IF we miss on Lache, would we take Blue AND Gore.

He isn't that fast. He's not elite speed. Even Cobbs has better 100m times.
Care to elaborate? If you're reffering to DeMarco Cobbs, the fastest verifiable 100m i could find was 10.88. As far as Lache, the fastest verifiable time i could find was 10.59.
(Milesplit and Dyestat are two pretty good sources for HS track and field)
IMO, what makes Seastrunk elite is his ability to go from 0 to full speed within 2 to three steps.

I have been very underwhelmed with LS this year...seems undersized to be an everydown back at LSU. He may need some time to develop his body before he sees the field. I for one think we get LS on board and hope I am sincerely wrong, but I don't get the hype. I do agree he has the potential to be a big play threat if he can develop a little bit phyisically. I played big school football in Texas...where the hell is their weight room? His team is shite too...so util I see him play in the all star games I will reserve full judgement. I really like Blue though...tough call if we have to choose between the two, but even so I would still take LS over Blue at this point. Can't wait to see LS on a good team with equal talent all around.

His team is not that good.
Also, he is not heralded as an EVERY DOWN back but rather he would be the DASH to a bigger backs SMASH.

the question is, does he fit what crowton likes to do?
Does that matter? Will Crowton even be here next season? I wouldn't be shocked if he wasn't.

Has there been any indication that he won't be? I think he'll be here next year, for better or worse.

Yea, that shite arse no identity offense he's been trying to run all season that has us ranked like 109th in the country.

I sure hope not. His gameplanning has been really bad.

Any relation to Narvel Blue..then he should be all LSU?
As Lawrence said "Ghost vs Blue..ain't a c@nt hair's difference between 'em..they both fast!"

i know blue is very good but it seems like his skill set is roughly the same as ford, ware, hill, hilliard. why do we need another one unless somebody will play a different position.
I agree with lsuchamps. LS seems like a difference maker, and the type of RB that we usually don't have. However, I would be fine if Ridley, Ford, Hill, and Hilliard held it down for the next few years.

With a last name like Blue we got to have him on the team. Bayou Blue

I will be the first to say that my opinion on these too runners isn't going to be as informed as some.
I have watch Lache's highlights. That is all.
From this quote and his highlights I am very confused about why he is ranked highly. If a back relies totally on speed then that back sucks and will not help you on the majority of plays unless you are playing crappy teams.
If Blue can't hang on to the ball in HS then I don't want him. Don't know if that is true just comes from a post in this thread.
To me Storm and Ware from the highlight films look to be great... granted highlight films.
When I watch a RB in HS I want to see a guy that people have a very hard time tackling. For me that is a requirement.
My philosophy is that a running backs worth is in getting first downs. Big plays by design should be much more "required" from receivers.
I want a guy that can get 4 yards after contact over the guy that gets 1 yard after contact but mught break it all the way if nobody touches him.
Cecil the Deisel is the guy I want and they don't make many that can run like he could. Is Ford that kind of guy. I hope so. Is Ridley that kind of guy I believe so.

He isn't real shifty. He doesn't juke defenders. He just gets by them and outruns them to the endzone.

I see Blue play every week; he is good. He has size and speed, runs inside or outside. He does have some shiftiness but is not afraid to run over a LB or DB. Can catch the ball.
I haven't seen LS but from what I've heard he is faster but not as big. They are different types of runners. Either one would be a good recruit. Word around here is Blue will be in the SEC, but probably not at LSU.

Blue has a lot of talent and great potential. Give him a redshirt year to get bigger & stronger & he will be one of the best all around backs in the SEC. I hope LSU gets him.

Ole Miss is what the kids I've talked to have said.
