You mean the best senior back in the state right? Most on here think Hilliard and Hill are 1 and 2, but they are both juniors.

Yes. Best in 2010. Thanks for the clarification.

I'd rank them: 1. Hilliard, 2. Blue, 3. Hill

FWIW, which isn't shite

I love the back story of he and JJ winning a youth football championship and Blue looking forward to winning a championship on the collegiate level. Every Tiger fan should be excited and proud hearing these words from this kid. Great stuff.

on rivals it says this under his name

quote:

A reclassification from the 2011 class to the 2010 class made Blue an immediate priority during the offseason.

so he was supposed to be a junior this year?

Can someone tell me why this guy is a 3 star on Rivals? I swear I thought he was a 4 star...and everything I've saw/heard...he definitely needs to be. What the hell?

Not that it really matters but I thought I saw this just the other day...

Considering that it was 50-50 with Ole Miss for him recently, this is very good news. We can't afford to lose ANY in state recruits to Nutt. One of the few positions Nutt can actually recruit well is RB, so if nothing else, we pulled a guy that won't be hurting us like some of O's LA players did over the last two years.

Blue was by far the most impressive player on the field during the Rummel/Hahnville game. That being said, Rummel had the next 15 best players. Most could have picked him out (ie the big time college recruit) just by watching Hahnville warm up.

Hahnville would have had a chance if they would have given him the ball 30 times (I'm still confused why they didn't). I think he ended up with like 10-13 carries for 80+ yds.

I've seen the kid play, and from a few people I know who were at the LSU camps, He and the Cincy Kid were by far the best two backs. He'll be a big time player -- I recall the same talk last year about Mo Claiborne - 3 star.

The only thing is that both are very similar type backs IMO (Big and physical with good speed). This is also why I think it is NOT a tell about where LS ends up.

I think this does not bode well for the Lache Seastrunk situation. I think this might give us some type of indication that Lache is headed to USC.
Everyone would love to have Seastrunk, but you don't pass up an excellent back like Blue, & this avoids the CM situation of last year...
