I think their is a decent chance he flips. The momentum for this LSU class is strong. I think a lot of recruits are realizing how special this class could be. Someone raised a good point the other day about LSU OL saying that we should have more in the NFL but have gotten unlucky with health issues - wiliford, faulk, hurst. Its not a coaching issue. No reason for crob to take himself out of being apart of something special at LSU because of bad injury luck for the OL over the years. Collins will be there soon also.

He would look good blocking for fournette. Fournette would look good with crob blocking for him. We win National Championship and send another record boatload to the NFL.

Clearly now is the time to buy LSU as the 2010 class did after a bad year. Plus we have cam cameron now for the offense.

hmmm... I can't help but think of a certain thread by The Doc.

yeahhhh... NO. CRob is all Crimson. He's all in (and was for quite a while) in my opinion. No correlations here.

I am afraid Nick the prick is processing 4 star recruits to make room for 5 stars that he is close to getting

Wouldn't you give Bama the benefit of the doubt at this point?

this +100

he wants to play with his polynesian friends. they wanted him and he was committed to them so he flipped to USC.

roberts is a different story.

AU is also putting on the full court press on their other commits Shaun Dion Hamilton and Kelverraz Bressent

People make way too much over decommits.
LSU and Bama have 100 guys that would crawl to their school to play, a 2 or 3 star sometimes have more impact than the one 5* you lose

Yea, no doubt there's a bunch of 2/3 * Safeties here in LA they could get tomorrow to replace Hootie…probably be better than him too once they've been in Moffit's S&C program for a couple years.

I could be wrong, but teams don't usually make room by processing out top 100 players. Both the players that flipped were top 10 at there position, that would make much sense.

No, you are not wrong. This happens every year at Alabama but you are correct in what you have noticed. Usually, it is the 3* guys who committed early that are told there may not be a spot for them. As you pointed out, this is a top 100 and top 150 player, both now gone. Sure, Alabama can upgrade a little but when you are say 95 rated on the 24/7, there aren't a lot more points to be gained.

Ooooooohhhhhhh nnnnnnnnooooooo, they're making room for Leonard Fournette!! Seriously though, like I said earlier, it is nice for them to be losing the higher profile players instead of the 3* they normally lose this time of recruiting! I think what REALLY is going on is that some of these guys FINALLY figured out that Alabama doesn't play 3 games a weekend and their most active action on game day may to be move to another spot on the bench so they don't get "bench sores."

That is true. It does happen, and it seems quite frequently (because no one has 22 5*'s starting for them).

BUT, there is also a direct correlation between wins and recruiting rankings historically, if you take that past the last UTx NC.

That's a tad harsh since after all, if/when Tony Brown comes to LSU, he would be crossing state lines right? So did Pocic....so did Gilmore...so did Neal...so did Bower...so did Jennings, etc, etc, etc.

I have 0 problem with guys leaving LA as long as they have been honest with the coaches and the football fans about their recruitment and whether there is really a doubt as to where they want to go. Some are more honest than others in that regard.
