This is what LSU is desperately needing inside. Optimistic.

Optimism unfounded.
Posters here have advised that he is three star, and, hence unworthy.
Something must be wrong with that video…

Good to see him inside. Went to see Ruston play when they came to Arkansas. He played on the edge and it wasn’t a good game and he didn’t look like an edge player against at best decent competition.

Looks to have the frame to add some weight and be a guy at DT. Much better fit for his skill set

Agreed. That center was tiny but seeing him with power was nice. I just don't see him as a disruptor on the edge.

Maybe he can be a power player.

This the key. He has to commit to playing inside. Defenses are multiple now so the experience outside is good but his best upside is inside. He could be a solid rotation guy in there. While Reliford may have that ability to play outside, Breaux would be severely limited out there.

He’s played as many snaps inside as he has outside this year at Ruston. They move him, Geordan Guidry, and Payton Bell around a good bit. He has played a lot of snaps inside. Ruston will also play a 3 man front a lot of times against passing teams. When they do, he gets snaps inside and outside.

Everyone expects DL players to rush up the field and get after the QB. The Ruston DL doesn’t play that way. They do a tremendous job of getting their hands on the OL, reading the play, and then reacting to the play. They are very good at not taking themselves out of the play by rushing up the field too quick. That has led some to believe that he doesn’t have very good “get off” when he plays. He can come off the ball when he needs to.

He is more than capable of moving inside and that seems to be the plan for him at LSU.

As an Acadiana fan I wish our 5 star DT could do that. He’s great at picking up fumbles and intercepting passes though.

Been the best D Line in the state two years running. Curious if Guidry sticks with Tulane now that Fritz is leaving. He had SEC offers from Missouri and Ole Miss and had a monster semi-final game. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a little more love from some P5 teams leading up to signing day.

The lber unit is legit at well. Lots of well coached talent on that defense at every level.

This is what I immediately picked up on when watching his film when he committed. I said it looked like he was being coached up by Pete Jenkins or something.
