Jimbo has a 70% wining percentage without a Jameis Winston. 10-10 in his last 20 ACC games. He had worn out his welcome at FSU and has been on the decline. Did FSU even try to keep him?

Aggy is little brother to Texas. The Jimbo hire was a desperate attempt to curb Herman’s momentum last year. Texas cleaned up recruiting last year. If Aggy is mediocre to bad (good chance) and Texas is showing signs of improvement then you’ll see the shift back towards Austin. The state of Texas is a Longhorn state. Aggy is of little worry or concern.

LSU was never going to throw 70 million buyout to Jimbo, at the time LSU was looking for a coach to replace Miles, Florida State had over a 30 million buyout with Jimbo.

A&M while wealthy is stuck with Jimbo and if for some reason the Aggies go say 8-4 for the next 4 seasons then see how the fans react.

I do believe the Aggies will improve and just sure numbers and odds of winning and losing I also agree LSU will eventually lose a game to A&M. I just don't think the Aggies are going to buy their way to the top and if they do then college athletics has taken a sad route.

In 2 or 3 years, Saban will be moving out and Smart or Jimbo will be taking over the top spot in the SEC. It will not be O. We will be a solid 3rd or 4th.

Mullen could be up there also.

Yes because he certainly dominated the ACC in every year that he had Winston. Oh wait. That was one year.

We heard that with Sumlin there too....Dabo was making Jimbo his B and ran him out of the ACC. He will be run out of the SEC and end up in the Pac 12 in 5 yrs.

I'm honestly not that worried. I'm of the opinion that Jimbo is overrated. Solid coach but not anything I expect to be dominating the West.

As much money as A&M has thrown at Jimbo, if he doesn't win early and often he will have aggieland turn on him real quick. He also has to compete with Texas recruiting now that Herman is on board and if Texas heats up before the aggies, his future classes will diminish.

If we beat A&M in College Station this year, we will beat them in BR next season (I think our 2019 team will be better). That's 2 more losses hung on them and the streak continues.

Between this post and the one in the Mckernan thread I don’t know which is worse.

Jimbo recruited just as good in the Acc and didn’t dominate so now he’s going to dominate in a tougher conference?

Jimbo is Les Miles 2.0

Jimbo is a national title winning coach that will always field at the very least a top let's say 15-25 offense overall.

You would think, after being at Florida State for 8 years, he would have all the pieces in place to run his offense. He should have the receivers he needs, the running backs he needs, and the line. The “quarterback whisperer” ought to have 2-3 nfl ready guys sitting in the wings to take over his high powered offense. And yet, he had the 108th ranked offense in FBS last year. 108th. I don’t know if that says more about why Jimbo doesn’t really scare me, or about why I think you’re an idiot for spouting some stupid shite about Jimbo will always have a top 15-25 ranked offense. Your football analysis absolutely sucks.

OP is a dumbass. Talk to anyone that follows the FSU program. They had the reputation of being soft defensively. What is Aggy known for again? Remind the class..........

Exactly.

Always said that A&M is the sleeping giant in the SEC and please no one wake them up. Unfortunately Fisher is definitely one of the guys that can wake them up.
