This was a good call, Sophomore committing is a LOCK to an out of state school. Really cause for panic. But hey why waste a chance to bash on Les Miles. I'm curious what explaination there is for him signing here, must be in spite of Miles since he is a lazy recruiter. I'm sure we can say he would have gone to UT if Lane and Bebe stayed there instead of going to USC. Lucky break.

This is incorrect.
Freak was only going to stay at Tennessee if Frank Wilson chose to remain in Knoxville and there was also a chance that he was giving Bama a serious look.
Freak always wanted to play at LSU and of course his familiarity with former Walker coach Wilson just helped seal the deal.
Freak staying at Tennessee had absolutely nothing to do with Kiffin or Orgeron and everything to do with LSU, Wilson, and the coaches at OP Walker.

You missed the point, some people will not give Les credit for anything the goes right, but will blame him for everything that may go wrong. Just look at this thread, they are blasting Les because he hadn't offered a sophmore, who was saying leader was a team with a coach that had coached at his HS. So they can say the only reason we got Johnson is because of Wilson, never mind that Les hired him.

Everyone was noticeably upset about losing Freak at the time because everyone knew he was a great player. Is your reading comprehension that bad that you didn't relate jealousy/anger towards Tenn as a testament to how good he is and how bad we felt at the time about possibly missing out on him? It just went right over your head didn't it?
