our formula is simple...lock down LA and cherry pick MS, TX, and FL.

Which is alot easier since were the only BCS school in the state. BAMA still has to compete with AU over everything.

Miles has essentially punched Saban in the mouth when it comes to signing kids from LA, no matter how hard he continues to go after them.

How many kids has LSU gotten out of Alabama in the last two years?

With all that said, I wouldn't trade where LSU stands in recruiting for the world...our formula is simple...lock down LA and cherry pick MS, TX, and FL.

Which is exactly what Saban is attempting to do at Bama...lock down Bama and raid Louisiana and the south. Our greatest strength next to home grown is east Texas and if Saban forges realtionships there he will hurt us. Be thankful that UH and Rice have not improved their progams.

maybe someone can tell us the details but essentially he has Bama ties......maybe even a booster or alum but don't quote me on that.

Let's just say he's connected to Bama.

Okay, you keep the Alabama players and we'll keep the Louisiana players.

Hey Bama Chick, how would you feel if your ex husband who left you for another woman then came back 2 years later wanting to date your sister and be at all your family gatherings? I guess you would be cool with that

I don't think that's going to make sense to her.

You have to understand that the ex-husband/cousin was probably still attending all of the family gatherings anyway.

LA kids > Bama Kids.

We don't want too many kids from Alabama.

Seriously people, we're talking about 2010. Alabama is one rueben randle/mark ingram injury/arrest away from matching army's record. Let's face it, they aren't exactly USCw with that offense.

Maybe Ross Wilson will quit the baseball team and play for the tide?

If I were Saban, I would probably hit not just Louisiana, but also Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan. shite I'd even hit New Jersey.

As for Bama being the closest team that can compete with LSU, let's not be too arrogant, Houston Nutt, Bobby Petrino, and Mack Brown all disagree.

None, but i don't think we recruit AL as hard as we do TX, FL, MS. Could be wrong. How many top 20 players from the state of AL have gone out of state last 2 years?

I guess this explain why Alabama has a 20 game margin over LSU in its history.

Listen up dipshits, just because a kid is from a particular state does not make him good.

DD is a complete dumbass. He doesn't even have Jordan Allen (6'6 260lb DE) from WM in his top 50 prospects for next year. Or Dillon Day (6'4 250lb T). Jordan should be in the top 10 at least and Dillon should be in the top 25.

rammer jammer has cherry-picked some louisiana product over the years but mostly our home grown talent stays home grown... and we'll get ocassional alabama product

if saban is attempting to get a toe-hold in louisiana for 2010, why should we be surprised...

understand alabama, tennessee, georgia and auburn will be cannibalizing one another first.

review rammer jammer commitments this year... i think sentimore is the lone louisiana high schooler

my point is don't worry so much for the crimson tide... we take care of business AND we'll take care of business

Well over the last few years that would be ok with me.

Auburn, really? Last year we did not lose one recruit to Tubby that we were both recruiting. Not one. You think Chizik is going to fix this? He hasn't taken one yet... oh, and Petey Smith decommitted when he got there and is now coming to Bama.

Chizik got embarrassed and run out of the Big 12 north and now you guys think he is going compete against us?

The fact of the matter is that both states produce top notch talent. We did alright with Alabama talent for a long time... We will again.
