Wiggins is great and I know that they might have plans for Sage to play nickel, but I feel like we need a second ELITE true corner. I know we’re in the mix for Kook-aid, but are there any other guys that we’re after?

I agree but Raymond has a big haul next year for cornerbacks. I guess they’re banking on that.

Khamauri Rogers (Committed) will be a 5* ranked #56 overall

Earl Little Junior (100% crystal balled) will be a 5* ranked #93 overall

Laterrance Welsh is a high 4* ranked #152 overall

Why do people think we're going to pull Kool Aid? Haven't seen anything about him and LSU in some time.

Rogers could be the best Corner we could sign since Stingley. Major flash on a lot of his highlights

Too late. We are already low on DBs and will lose a couple this year. Need 3-4 in next class. Right now we have 2 committed (1 CB, 1 S).

And yet he dropped in the rankings from last year to this. Doubt he gets to 5* because he's way too thin. He's a major talent though. Little may not even make it in our class if we get who we want. Denver Harris is higher on the board than him. Likely another guy or 2. Welch could be the riser. Think we are gonna need 3 minimum, maybe 4 cbs next year

Think we need a 2nd corner. May be a film guy we push later or Nabers. With no visits likely it's gonna be hard to get in on kids with already established relationships elsewhere.

Nyland Green, but I think it is kind of a longshot with him. Would love to sign this dude, as he is bad arse

I’ve continued to ask this question for weeks now. If last week wasn’t evidence enough that we need more CB depth, I don’t know what is. I don’t think we can wait until next year to rely on signing a big class. 2 is the minimum in this class.

Not a given that Stingley doesn't opt out next year.

That’s POSSIBLE, but not probable with any certainty. The poster I replied too made it seem obvious we were going to “lose a couple DB’s this year.” And I have no clue who he could be talking about.

Sting & Harris? Doubtful. Mo opting out too? Doubtful.

Jacoby Stevens doesn’t really count in this equation since our major concern is covering receivers. And if you’re talking about the transfer from Harvard on the Bayou, then pffffft... whatever.

Best I got is Cam Lewis and Evans as “a couple from this year.” And that’s not a major issue any more than normal attrition at worst, and certainly not a major concern for covering receivers.

Stevens, Lewis (Sr, but I did not remember the free yr), and we probably will have someone transfer out

After this last weekend we need to get at least 4 corners in this class

Hopefully we can snag Green. If not we will have to make up for it 2022. 2022 will be a good class for us if we can capitalize on the Elite LA recruits and snag a few out of state.

Probably because LSU staff is pretty confident in their young CBs. Flott played well last year. You can toss this performance out. Ward wasn't even playing 100%. But I do agree 1 other CB wouldn't hurt. Maybe they feel like Sage is good enough for CB or S.

There is no way Khamauri Rogers is going to be a 5 star,he's going down in the 247 rankings not up because they've watched him live.A 5'11 165pd CB running a 4.7 isn't going to move up in rankings.

Well, Denver Harris and Laterrance Welch are gonna be top 100 guys next cycle.

The state game was a tough one to not have Stingley for, but I’m not going to say the sky is falling after one game. Especially after learning about Jay Ward’s recent knee surgery.

We can definitely agree that Evans isn’t SEC quality though.
