LSU's highest-ranked commitment will also head to town to help the Tigers recruit...

LSU will host one of the nation's top running backs for an official visit this weekend when Clovis (Calif.) Buchanan five-star running back Kendall Milton makes a three-day trip to Baton Rouge, one of multiple trips to LSU's campus the California native has made this offseason.

The LSU staff doesn't have a running back committed for the 2020 class, and Milton has been one of the staff's top targets this spring - regardless of position.

In mid-May, Milton announced a final four of LSU, Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama, and he made an official visit to Ohio State at the end of May before heading to LSU this weekend.

Milton won't be the only California prospect on hand this weekend, which will be a big boost for the LSU staff in terms of recruiting Milton to join the fold.

California five-star cornerback Elias Ricks, an LSU commitment, told the Geaux247 staff that he also plans to visit campus this weekend, but on an unofficial visit, which will allow him to help the Tigers push for one of the nation's top running back prospects.

It’s great that we have Ricks with him on the visit. That could go a very long way. Need to be in his ear constantly.

You do realize every top recruit in the country has those schools going for them including many who have already committed to LSU?

So what is your point??? I never said we can't sign Milton! I said whenever we are competing against Bama & Georgia it always gets interesting! First that is 100% true and second, nowhere did I say we can't or won't sign Milton!

No you just sounded like a bitch with your previous post and I wanted to inform you how college recruiting works. All the major recruits have top schools going for them. Get off your fricking knees.

Like these players from the 2019 class?

Derek Stingley Jr
John Emery Jr
Kardell Thomas
Trey Palmer
Tyrion Davis
Anthony Bradford
Raydarious Jones

who all had offers from Bama AND Georgia?

Apu Ika (Bama)
Marcel Brooks (Bama)
Maurice Hampton (Bama)
Donte Starks (UGA)
Devonta Lee (Bama)
Etc
Etc

Which ones were very interesting? I must have been dozing off at the time from boredom and missed all of the excitement.

It’s all up to how people choose to read into a post. Going to be a tough battle to pull Milton. Let’s see the staff earn their $$.

Those were LA blue chip prospects minus Surtain whose dad is from NOLA. How many top prospects have we grabbed from the state of Alabama?

Yes but you cannot say "always" like it is an every time occurrence. That is just trying to create drama when it does not always exist.

How many blue chip prospects does that state produce in comparison to Louisiana. How many SEC programs are in the state of Alabama versus Louisiana?

I agree and with Saban it's a unique situation since he has ties throughout the state from his days coaching at LSU. O and staff have done a good job at home and an exceptional job nationally, especially the current class. We may still lose a few commits, but we likely will add a few more unexpected players as well.

I'm not being hypercritical, just pointing out that the little turd has been able to come in and raid our cookie jar more than I would like.
