Kardell may be my favorite all time Tiger and he hasn't even signed yet. You can't help but love this kid.:

Before that, expect Thomas to make some more visits. More likely than not, they will be officials and to non-SEC schools. Currently, Penn State, Miami, Oklahoma and Texas are in the mix.
“From my perspective, it means no visits to certain schools,” a smiling Thomas hinted. “We all know what that school is. I’m going to take some trips and see the world. I get five free trips and I’m definitely going to go, but I’m a Tiger.”

Thomas has taken over as LSU’s lead recruiter in the 2019 class.
Previously, the Under Armour All-American has named Derek Stingley Jr. as a top target. He’s no Santa Claus, but Thomas has been steadily adding more and more blue-chip talent of his wish list in recent months.
So, who has been added to the list?
•Marcel Brooks, 4-star OLB (Flower Mound, Texas)
•Noah Cain, 4-star RB (Bradenton, Fla.)
•Evan Neal, 4-star OL (Bradenton, Fla.)
•Chris Steele, 5-star CB (Bellflower, Calif.)
•Charles Turner, 3-star OL (Bradenton, Fla.)
“I’m trying to get ballers,” Thomas proclaimed. “I may even get a couple of my guys at my school [Southern Lab], who lock down everything. We’re going to try and build LSU up and make it legendary.”
quote:
“Growing up, I watched guys like Saahdiq [Charles] go there, so I came to Georgia with the best and I told myself I’d come to the best combine and get better,” Thomas said. “I prayed on my knees and I got it. To me, it’s a blessing from God and I thank him for it.”
Thomas is currently ranked as the top guard in the 2019 class, but the No. 23 overall prospect.
The Baton Rouge native is resolute on improving that ranking with the No. 1 spot on his mind as The Finals approach.
“Every recruiting service was here. I proved my ranking and I expect it to be higher,” he said. “Guys weren’t getting off the line, so I think I should get it. I study my opponents. I Googled them to see different things, but most important, I stick to my craft and it worked every time.”

Dude is a certified baller. Going to be hard to keep him off the field year one, even with all the depth we have at guard right now.

I'm in a sports group on Facebook and one of the ladies in posted the most recent article about Kardell. It's pretty crazy to see a woman from Chicago with no ties to Louisiana or LSU being exposed to an OL committed to LSU.
He is a beast and the nation is noticing.

On top of his commitment to LSU I love his drive to be the best. His quote about pushing himself to be better is amazing. He doesn't just rest on his natural talent. He actually googled the players he was going against in camp to see how to play against them. This is a HS kid. You don't see that kind of commitment often.
If he maintains this drive, this kid is destined for greatness. Attitude, talent and work ethic.

Retire this kid's jersey as soon as he is assigned a number.

This young man is not only a rare talent, he is a rare person. He knows he is a great talent. He does not need the false promises. He wants to lead his school and his state.

Why, be that guy? You are one sad individual!

Kid acts years beyond his age as far as being mature. More kids should be as sure of where they want to attend school before committing. His first stiff arm knocks defender off balance everytime. Kid is student of the game and it shows.

He's the same caliber of player as LF was, once in a generation talent.

Taking visits to schools who are recruiting our main targets heavily! Won’t hurt having our lead recruit in the ears of the guys on The OV’s
