Damn . If everyone is saying it, it must be true. Ole Miss or FSU it's not us. Does Etienne get/have an offer? What's with CEH if he's the only RB committed? What changed for him if we're not getting Akers?

Like Duckie said, I won't skip work to watch his announcement.
Didn't Jimmy skip the Monty Rice announcement too?

Definitely a strange choice given their use of RBs. Maybe it's a home thing.

Been thinking and saying he is not coming to LSU. Nothing has changed my thoughts on that. That said I hope the kid has a change of heart.
I can say this with some degree of confidence... if he ends up at LSU he will have changed his mind from what it is now and has been for awhile.

I have been guessing FSU. It might not be FSU but it was not long ago. I assume it still is.

The CB's have poured in for FSU lately yet OM seems to be the rumor. Couple that with the fact that they are about to receive some type of probation, something fishy is in the air.
when will you all learn. Tssk, tssk, tssk.
We see this every year with Mississippi kids. They are not going to let that kid out of state without a major financial fight.
I hope the NCAA is watching this one closely.

This is the "new" NCAA's one shot to show they have some teeth. This is a completely different organization than the one that buried USC, and I think there has also been turnover since they hit Penn State. I think they know if they don't make a statement here, that it's open season in the FBS. Everyone will be acting like 1980s SMU.
Because of the way cheating usually happens, they will never have a better opportunity than this. They have several assorted infractions that OM has basically admitted to and tried to make go away with self-imposed penalties (a red-flag they there's more, if there ever was one), but the Tunsil draft day kind of evidence and witness coorboration doesn't come around very often. If they are smart, they will use that to make an example of Ole Miss.
The only things the NCAA has really ever been able to do are to win the easy ones and hassle repeat offenders like Harrick and Neuheisel. They've never had the resources to do anything else. If they blow this one, then they really have no power anymore. Because of that, I maintain my belief that they will hit Ole Miss as hard as they feel they can without a backlash, or shot at reduction on appeal.

The NCAA doesn't need to "make an example" out of anyone.
Punish the crime appropriately and it becomes its own example.
