Stats are meh but I have no idea if he was a space eating nose or what.
Honestly, I don't want to throw big money at interior DL. We bring back Guillory and Suggs, are developing McKinley and Breaux very well, and have good NT in this recruiting class.
I'd rather spend it on edge guys to replace Swinson, Jones, and Womack.

He is a space eater and what he does is make everyone around him better. Keeps OGs off of LBs, clogs the middle so the DEs don't get doubled and allows the rush DT to attack up field.
Do we currently have someone that does that?

You need a couple more the give the young guys time , but I do think that the current freshmen will make a huge leap in year two

This may be splitting hairs but I dont split our interior DL into DT and NT at least not for this defense. The point here is that gives us much more depth at that position to play 2 out those 8.

You are missing Suggs. He played great against OU. I saw him take on double team a couple of times in this game. He plays strong.
