A ton of recruits were saying positive things about this game. It really looks good from all the media and social media standpoints that we just beat the darling UCF who hasn’t lost in two years.

Queen looked good on the outside. That guy will be a starter next season.

I think queen could mix in there but he played on the inside.
I think Patrick queen has all sec linebacker in him though.
I honestly like him better than Phillips because Phillips is always in the wrong spot.

Kid has acceptable offers from every school with a pulse.
He says clearly on how twatter to recruit not just him but his family.
So, I say Aranda (also linebacker coach), Coach O, Ensminger, Their families, my family, your family, a couple gators, fried squirrel, seafood gumbo, and a raccoon all make a trip up to Maryland and show him what a family is down in these parts.
I'm ready to ride.

Just wished that our depth was there at DB and this game would have looked even better. Those big plays given up wouldn't have been given up if we had our starters in the game. Still a great win.
Lawrence, Stevens, White, Queen and also Logan was a beast in this game. I didn't think Shelvin played bad either. That guy loses 15-20 more pounds while adding some real meat and he will be unblockable.
If LSU can land another OLB who can rush then gets Sopsher and another top 20 DE and we'll be all set to add the depth which is desperately needed to make a run in 2020. Coach O is also gaining lots of respect out there in the circles.
I have to give it up to Aranda and Ensminger for both calling a terrific game and both pressing the right buttons even though big plays were made and missed on both sides. If Steve E can get the RZ scoring fixed, we'll have ourselves a real staff. I think him giving Burrow more autonomy within the offense made a huge difference in this game and could have all year but not sure if they were ready earlier. With an entire offseason to work with we might just have some good stuff in the works for next season.
LSU needs more little trick plays near the RZ and passes in the middle of the field. They also really need to work on their screen game in a bad way. All types of screens. The OL actually played a decent game. If LSU gets Ingram and Taylor back with the guys we have coming back and in from the new class, this OL might just be a top product.
Our OL, DL, DBs and WRs will need the most work this offseason. I hope these boys take it upon themselves to get serious about doing what's needed to be an elite team because we can be if they put in the work that's needed. If I'm O I look back to the 2011 defense, call them all up and ask them what exactly did they do to get into shape in that offseason and replicate that. They need to work their butts off this offseason so when the season comes they're ready. We finally have the depth to work hard in the preseason. I don't care what anyone says, this staff has rebuilt this teams depth and it's fun to see again. They just need to improve on a few small things but they don't have near as much to work on as when O first took over. This truly was a rebuilding effort with some pieces in place. It's a tougher team but just needs to play tough through every play and all 4 quarters, no matter the score or lead.
