I think people have the strangest interpretation or outlook on things sometimes.

Why would he talk shite about LSU. He played all four seasons he was at LSU. He was ruled ineligible for the bowl game. Would he talk bad about LSU for his being ineligible?
definitely plenty of da fuq moments to be had.

Going off memory I'm thinking the rave reviews talked alot about his quickness. On right track here? Is that his biggest attribute?

Honestly, I have no idea. I had never heard the name until I saw Marquez Beason tweeting with him earlier today. Doing a search for his name, the big news seems to be that Texas is not included in his final list of schools.

This is in the article at the bottom of the page:

"The 6-3, 200-pounder from Marcus High School is rated No. 7 outside linebacker in the country for the class of 2019, according to 247Sports and ESPN."

And here are his highlights on Hudl:

Marcel Brooks - Class of 2019 Athl player

At the start of the video it says he is the #4 rated linebacker AND the #9 rated safety in Texas.

Holy shite !!! Yes, quickness, speed, size and brutality. If he was not on a football field that SOB would be arrested for what he does, that is if they could catch him.

I'm impressed with how aggressive the staff seems to be recruiting.

Isn't it rather odd Rosenthal was rated a 5 star and dropped to a 3 star. Must be one of the largest margins of decline in rating I've ever heard of. How does a player's video get worse? Rosenthal is a frickin monster, a beast, a corn-fed bull of a man with God-given strength. He is going to destroy some SEC linemen.

He was a 5* OL. He then made it known that he wanted to play DL. That dropped him to a 3*.

You never know. His tactics towards JaCoby Stevens did not work as expected.

Terrance Marshall
Cam Wire
Dare Rosenthal
Nelson Jenkins
Jarell Cherry
Kelvin Joseph

All at one point or another were pushed by Bama.
Why does it matter? They win some , the lose some just like us. Every year is a new year is we start fresh now.

Tyrion Davis
Kardell Thomas
Maurice Hampton
All are being pressed by Bama and yet we still hce them for now. The 19 class is the only one that matters now and we are up. Again why does it matter? If Texas, TAM or UGA etc come me and take a kid we want does it make it less a loss because it wasn't Bama?

Well he needs to because the invading coaching from the east and now west of us are going to be coming for blood!

If you paid attention you would have noticed that the LSU coach is invading the states to the East and West and he is the one going for blood.

Just within the last couple weeks you have Grant Gunnell, Marquez Beason, Beason's cousin, Marcel Brooks, etc. That's just Texas.

The thread about the new 2019 offers there are one or two big time players from Alabama that have been offered.

Eaux is building a shadow staff comparable to Bama's and will be hard to be outworked on the recruiting trail.

Mentioned it in the Lee thread. They'd rather bitch about a wr in February a year out than discuss having real momentum with Brooks. One of the TX based writers kind of foresaw this last week. Its big if we get him. Have to have he or Dean to pair with Starks.

I sure hope so because I want Coach O to succeed for the simple fact that if he succeeds than we all know LSU is winning and at the end of the day that is what every Tiger fan should hope for.

But don't get it twisted, everyone in the country knows Louisiana is loaded in 2019 and you can bet the boys at Bama & Tamu are going to be coming after our in-state recruits harder than usual because of the talent in-state.

Louisiana is not the only southern state that is supposed to have great recruits this year. I don't know it is still the same but a couple months ago I saw where Tennessee had more top ranked recruits than Louisiana. That hasn't been common in the past but has been that way the last two or three years and is predicted to continue.

I think Alabama is highly ranked for recruits this year also.
