Star- gazing aside, the recruiting guys make it clear that Raymond and Busch love him. This is a kid LSU has been pushing hard for inside that building. And that works for me.

Curious as to the story on the kid. Does he have a great personality (leadership, little wild, etc.?) or great measurables? The tape makes it look like most highlights he just happened into the right spot--i.e. kinda looks like a lot of backyard ball and not well polished teams on both sides. That's nothing against the kid--he may well be great--but more that I personally can't tell anything about him from his tape, good or bad.

If there is one position where an LSU offer is more indicative of talent than recruiting service rankings it is CB. Just in recent years, LSU has had several CB prospects that turned out to be underrated or appear to have been underrated. Greedy was ranked 20th CB in his class, Flott 60th, and McGlothern 19th. I trust the LSU staff with corners more than any stupid recruiting site.
