re: 3* TE Kole Taylor of Grand Junction Colorado CB’ed to LSU

I like him a lot. He lined up as a receiver a lot, also saw he was lined up as a punter for a couple fakes. Does he have a leg? could be fun to see him pull a big ben and boot some on 4th down.

True and I think this yr ppl get caught up with thie 5* out west. It’s rare that TE’s are given a 5th star. Even a 4th star isn’t too common. TE is a tough position to evaluate. That’s why we see a 3* but still top 10 n the country with a strong offer list. Don’t be surprised if we sign him and drop someone that ppl will scoff at. But to go to more spread looks and still focus on physicality this position is very important. Finding that combo type TE who can get physical at LOS blocking & protecting some but also athletic enough to be involved in the passing game isn’t easy.

Darnell Washington has legit interest j us, and that kid is a physical freak. With the coaching staff recruiting the way they are we are never going to be out of it for a recruit until that name is put to paper.

Dude the chances for Darnell are extremely slim Kole will be a 4 star when 247 updates their rankings at the end of this month and Kole is a very good player

Good call. Kinda surprised here. Guess they're going with the "bird in hand" approach with TEs. However, they do really like his game. He's a guy Brady can lineup as a TE or Flex out into space and use, and that's something they are planning to do much more starting this year with our TEs.

Ripley man I know nothing about this kid all I said was I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up in this class because his offer seems legit and I see us taking a tight end. Never meant to make it seem like I was in “the know” with this kid. Just wanted to share that we got a crystal ball from a very accurate Colorado insider for this kid and said I wouldn’t be shocked if he committed to play football at LSU because he seems good enough to do so.
