Just need a few dominoes to fall our way, and everything could fall right how we want it. Landing Burrow was a huge momentum boost. Need to hit Miami in the mouth and get a few recruits to pop early so the rest follow suit.

Agree 100%. Big venue, big opponent, national stage. It's a great momentum boost for the current team and future recruits.

Winning cures all.

the one thing he did promise was he was going to rebuild and stock the lines, and so far he's delivered.

Those 2 were in disarray when O was hired and not looking up. We were thin for a couple of years on both sides and hadn't had a dominate DL since maybe Brokers left - just too thin.

I like the coaching hires at those spots as well.

Fans will always have a gripe or two concerning each recruiting class. Last year it was the CBs but the success on both lines is exactly what the doctor ordered.

How are we looking at DB besides Stingley and Hampton?

Bush and Payne (JUCO), and maybe Blades (JUCO). All depends on what spots we have left if we push for Blades down the stretch. Obviously prefer a 4 year guy, and Blades will be cutting it close with the grades.

Good deal, that sounds about right on Blades. You don't think anyone will earn an offer at camp? They would be OK just taking 4 DBs (5 if Brooks counts as a safety)?

I'm actually curious about camp offers myself. There's several they have their eye on. One being Adonis Otey out of Tennessee. Also curious to see if Joey Porter Jr makes his way back down for a camp. He's said he's interested, but actually making it to camp would be a big deal in our recruitment of him.

Burdine one of the ones they have their eye on?

I would think they want to sign 4 high school DBs?

Yeah, but lower down the list. He needs a strong camp showing and a great senior year.

Another one you could throw in that boat is Jordan Clark

Too small, and not very fluid. Not really a guy Busch/Raymond think can play at this level. Don't foresee him ending up with an offer at this point.

Very versatile athlete. Like him in coverage, and also his ability to play the nickel. He's also big enough to play safety if need be, and he's already got game experience. He gives you instant depth at basically every position back there, and someone they think can be a player and not just seen as depth.

Do u agree with that?
Just seems weird going after 2 jucos when we could sign another highly rated kid especially this year

I think after missing on some guys last year, some guys that could come in and be ready to play would be a good idea. Depth is pretty thin this year, and you lose Alexander, the grad transfer, next year.
