Wait to start off the week MR Miller , after a somewhat UP and down weekend. We welcome you w/ OPEN HANDS (no pun intended) which I’m sure you will be and do have. GEAUX TIGAHS

Yep, very small school with very little football history. Robert Williams played there and went to A&M a few years ago for basketball. Miller should be a big riser in the rankings once more people see him. He and Sampson in the next class will be absolutely filthy.

I like how he can go up and get the ball but is also a complete receiver.

His ranking will shoot up.

First time poster, long time lurker so be gentle. I’m a graduate of North Caddo. I asked a around and I think Omarion is the second Rebel/Titan to play for LSU, Ronald Barber was the first.

The kid is a very good player…but it is early. Heck his recruitment hasn’t even really began. They still can’t contact him until September 1. It’s a long way to go. No doubt loves LSU, but his recruitment hasn’t even really started.

I have very little doubt about us signing kids we want from Shreveport/Bossier and Lafayette. Those are the two most loyal parts of the state.

Acadiana area is just boat loads of good people it appears. Long story short, my username comes from a awesome guy I met & had to room with a couple nights on offshore platform back in 2011. He was a Medic-Safety dudeI kept waiting for the punchline when asking where he was from. He kept saying Iota Iota, when found out it was actually the name of a town I literally hit floor laughing. But they take their Tigers seriously like, all he talked about. He showed me Tiger droppings and how to start. In his honor stole his town for my name.I still laugh. I did make it to his brothers crawfish farm, amazing operation, even more amazing people . If they represent the general loyalty to LSU. It’s easy to understand our success there. Shout out to Lejeurne family from The IOTA

Actually the Lejeune's home town is Egan. That is also where Lejeune Crawfish is located. I assume he said Iota because not many people know where Egan is located. If you blink you passed it. Enjoyed reading your post.

No Tim was name of medic, think brother name was Mike/ Michael if memory serves N. Of Iota. Good Good peeps.

But back to Miller, that is some serious, serious raw talent. Unsure if has QB to really utilize him in HS. But right now he has really high ceiling, gonna be a great one. Damn we have an embarrassment of riches at WR in La. year in and year out.

Prior to Ronnie Barber, who is from Oil City, Mike Ryan of Mooringsport and a teammate of Phil Robertson at North Caddo, lettered at defensive back in 1967. Going way way back, Joe Almokary (Oil City) lettered for the Tigers at fullback in 1930-1932. Others from the NC area who signed and enrolled but did not stay were Jim Sanders (Vivian), Jerry Janes, and Hugh Walker (both of Mooringsport); all in the 1950s.

Janes later played football in the army and was drafted by the Chicago Bears (listed as from LSU). He instead chose the CFL where he played for several years for various teams.
