Maybe you should go back to lurking since your feelings are so fragile. St. Paul’s is an after thought across the state. I would think the Nussmeier family is smart enough and connected enough to know they have much better options for football for their son.

I guarantee you nobody at St. Paul's could care less and certainly not even expecting Nuss to come there...
They are used to beating teams with more talent then them

You said in 21 years, Stp is 116-24 against the their district. So obviously the talent pool is going to Stp bc their is ZERO competition from other catholic schools. Stop with the butt hurt and conside Stp is the only game in town! It's facts!

They can still live on the north shore and attend Rummel, Jesuit, or Brother Martin. Lots of kids/families do this.
Who the hell is commuting to Rummel, lol.

Yep he’ll be a Crusader on Elysian Fields and fit in nicely

Ja’Mar Chase… next question

Not 2 of Haven, Houston and Nuss. Maybe one and then Ziegler. One, just don't see multiple alphas committing to the same place, same class. Two, why waste the money? Those top 3(and Taylor) are gonna command top of the food chain money. Why spend top end for 2 when it's an almost certainty one will bail in a year or 2? I just don't see the logic. Be sure with the one you really want and do what it takes to get him. I'd assume once negotiations begin in earnest our list will shorten by a couple. Economics matter now.
Your line of thinking is right. It’s a tough position to be in but good. You certainly want little Nuss and Haven. Those are the top 2 on your board. In a perfect world, we’d get both. Not getting both though.
I think a more likely scenario is getting Nuss and maybe Houston as your 2 QBs. Throw in Ziegler but as a WR. He would almost certainly be a sure fire elite WR. Haven will not come here if any other QB is in the class. He’s a great kid and would love to see him in purple and gold. I think he’ll end up at UGA, Texass or Blowhio State.

Someone out of state is gonna get a real good QB!

Why would he go to school in Baton Rouge with his family living in the New Orleans area?
Crazier things have happened

Wait, you are calling this competitive?

Lol, what? Chase didn’t live on the Northshore.

Over the years, especially in the Payton era, Saints coaches that live on the north shore typically settle in The Sanctuary neighborhood. It is a gated community with a private entrance to the back of Mandeville High. Most of the time the kids go there. At one time there was a player on the Mandeville team in every class whose father was on Saints staff.
Sometimes new coaches that are quickly looking for the nearest private school default to St.Paul for their classification compared to the smaller ones in the area.
With that said, leaving Flower Mound to attend any school on the north shore will be a large drop in athletes and competition. I’m willing to bet they bought a house in The Sanctuary and the rumors are now running for both schools and the kid ends up commuting to Jesuit. If he doesn’t reclassify and finish out with Flower Mound.

haven't seen Haven play. I understand he's a fantastic all around athlete, but is he just that, or is he a pretty polished QB?
Haven is far from polished. But the upside is through the roof. I’m not even sure if football is his best sport.

Rummel is right off of Causeway. It’s more convenient to the Northshore than Jesuit, HC, or BM

That was Peyton Houston at Evangel who y’all are omitting from your list. He might be the best QB in that entire group.
Thanks. There so many really good QBs coming out I got confused.

I would assume because the dad wants to live in a nicer neighborhood on the northshore.
Yeah the 5 million dollar mansions in those trashy Old Metairie neighborhoods are no place to raise a civilized family.

Education matters to some people, no one rides that far to go to Rummel.
