They need to do away with the word "commit" and just go with "The team leading in negotiations"

Did I say they had to? But you don't think kids aren't getting paid already? So it's ok for them to get paid, but not sign an LOI if THEY want to?
If a HS kid is a Jr and set on where he wants to go... and has an offer on the table, why not lock them in.

There is one reason I don't like this idea. You'll have people like the Tennessee commit whose parents forced him to sign with Tennessee when it's pretty obvious that's not where HE wants to go.
