From New Orleans listed as a safety but thought I read somewhere they offered him at WR

6’2” 180 lbs, that’s a Corey Raymond safety right there

Yes, He plays both in HS but LSU offered for WR.

Yeah it will be interesting to see how the safety position shakes out in 2026

We have the #1 and #4 safety’s in the country from La in the 2026 class

LSU doesn’t have to leave the state for WRs tbh

It’s at least 3-4 worthy of an offer instate every year

Lafell was probably the last oos wr to do anything at lsu

Well, LSU has been able to rely on in-state receivers in the past, just like running backs and defensive linemen. Then the in-state running backs and defensive linemen went through some dry spells. There's no guarantee that Louisiana will produce elite receivers every year.

Thus far, this staff hasn't signed any high school receivers who have shown any production, so we'll just have to see. Maybe the guys they have signed will be future NFL receivers, but I don't think the goal should be to just look to Louisiana for receivers.

I don't follow recruiting and camps and things like that a whole lot, but for some reason, I've followed this kid. I'm glad LSU got him.
