I grew up about 85 miles south of Lufkin and lived in Nacogdoches for a few years. Lufkin is a no-bullshite football program. Since 2000, 11 Lufkin high school graduates have made it to the NFL. That's 1 LHS graduate every other year making it to the show.

Those boys "behind the Pine Curtain" can flat ball...they're just rough, tough country boys who'll fight you at the drop of a hat for shits and giggles. On that fact alone, the kid is worth a look.

You want players from The Pack (and other parts of East Texas) on your football team.

What do we do on the recruiting board, aren't we here to evaluate talent at the highest level and his it. It is ok if you are his family member. No issue trying to get him exposure. However, why do you have to talk down to the current LSU team members, Holly and Jackson, simply to talk your family member up.
