Fwiw, I talked to his uncle a few weeks ago and asked him about the Bama rumors. He said he’s really a mama’s boy and that he and Jalen are really close. He thinks he ends up at LSU.....but a lot can happen between now and then. But yes it would sting to lose a Walker boy to Bama

I don't see it. First, it's really hard to make the transition from football to basketball due to the fact the seasons overlap. He would just be starting practice at the time the basketball team would be entering conference play. Basketball coaches generally shorten their bench at that time, not expand it. Another thing is that Wade isn't exactly recruiting slouches. I'm sure he'll have some significant talent in place at that time, likely higher ranked players than Thomas.

5 of the top 11 players from the state are WRs for 2021. We will take some of them, but no way to take them all.
Speed guy Hilton and possession Quincy Brown would be my guesses early on to be in this class. I’m sure we will look at all of them including Beech who sits around 20th in state.
