Figures
I don't feel like looking again right now, so give me Garrett Nussmeier, QB.

Scooby Williams, OLB, Florida.
Was bummed when he elected to go out of state, but Mullen got a good one.

Round 3 - Team Fib^2 selects:
Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins - DT/DE (has ability and desire to play both) - UGA
Suffice it to say, I think 247 got their ranking right here (or at least a hell of a lot closer than anyone else). Absolute steal in the 3rd. Good timing for UGA roster, as there will likely be a lot of DL turnover after this season. Recorded 16.5 TFL, 7 sacks in his 7 game limited senior season at Gaffney. 6'5" ~300lbs and 80 inch wing span, kid is an absolute hoss and was a major win for UGA DL coach Tray Scott (much maligned in his first 2 seasons).

Team sportsfan in round 3 takes Preston Stone - QB SMU
Meet the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner in Mr. Stone. Kid is Johnny Manziel but 2 inches taller and hopefully without all the off field issues. He has a very good chance to be a day one starter after SMU lost Shane Beuchele. And he is with the perfect coach to turn him into an elite college QB.
Ok maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but I just love this kid’s tape

I’m coaching baseball. Give me a few.
jembeurt selects Kyle McCord, QB Ohio State
I have to go back and check, but this may be the earliest I’ve drafted a QB. Before the draft I didn’t think I would take McCord, but at this point, I see pretty good value. Not saying the rankings are end all/be all, but I feel this is a good spot for him to fall. He may very easily be 2nd string this year.

I'm selecting Thomas Fidone, TE Nebraska. I wanted to jump on one of the last guys I could get at the top of their position.
He looks a little like a British actor, actually, who was in the misfits TV show.
ANYWAY Nebraska got several tight ends this year, which suggests to me that they're going to be trying to involve that position more in the scheme. As the by-far best pass catcher of the group, Fidone stands to become prominent in a new look for the Nebraska offense. He runs routes well and, if I recall correctly, he was also a basketball player, which is a background a ton of great tight ends share. I'm pleased I could get him this late.

With the 69th (NICE) pick of the 2021 TD RMD, Team GCB selects...
Mario Williams, WR, Oklahoma
Dynamic and twitchy. He's not huge, but he's sturdy. Sure handed and great after the catch. He could easily play the slot in the Sooners offense from the first snap of the season. There's a lot of guys on their depth chart, but Williams is a difference maker. The Oklahoma offense has put a number of dudes similar to Williams in the league.
