He is one of Cregg's favorites in this class. Cregg sees him as a future right tackle, but is big enough to play inside while he develops into it.

This is one of those cases where he plays on a team with a bigger prospect, and I think people look at the other guy as better so therefore Martinez can't be ranked as high. In reality I think Dumervil (who we are pushing hard for) is a high 4* and Martinez is a low/mid range 4*. Martinez has the potential to be very good, but as we've all seen in the past, potential doesn't always pan out.

Nah, don't sell the kid short. He's really good. I cant speak for other programs, but I know that's not the case at LSU. Like I already said, Cregg loves this kid. He's been hard after him from the start.
