Team Fib^2 Selects:
Brandon George - LB - Pitt
Can never go wrong with a dude who hits like a truck, has 2 first names, likes Ricky Bobby, and can fish...
2 way player acted as a near one man wrecking crew in HS. RB and LB (not to mention playing on basketball team and track and field)... seems to just like to hit things. Not a burner but had a good shuttle time, so relative to the needs of the position, he should be plenty fast. Lot of power evidenced by solid showings in shotput and discus.
Was not a big camp circuit kid and didn't even get his first offers until spring of 2018. He did attend the Opening regional where he placed 33rd nationally on their testing metrics. Went to the camp at Pitt and decided it was a good fit... And through 12 weeks of the season last year, his defensive unit allowed exactly zero touchdowns his senior year. Another guy whose team ended up being so far ahead that he typically only got to play for about a half, so the stats aren't overwhelming, but the kid can ball.
