Trent McDuffie, CB Washington
Second best corner in the class IMO. Super athletic and going to a team that needs him. Can return kicks as well
I love McDuffie. The St. John Bosco coaches said that he was the best defensive player on the team, and they are loaded (#2 team in the country). He would get the #1 WR on the other team over Chris Steele. He was their punt returner as well.
It would not shock me if he was our punt returner next year, although there's a chance he redshirts since we are loaded at DB.

I'll take De'Gabriel Floyd, ILB for Texas.
And state that Texas is back.

Thanks, I didn't want to hold up the draft but looks like it didn't matter.
Also, *Puka lol.
My first (of what I'm sure will be a few) Washington pick of the draft. The best WR that Petersen has signed so far. Should compete for immediate playing time and play as a true Freshman next year.
He was originally committed to USC, then bailed after that place turned into a dumpster fire. He was the national leader in receiving yards his Senior season with 103 catches for 2,336 yards and 26 TDs. Also the offensive MVP of the Polynesian Bowl. Very polished, decent size, and really athletic.
I'm expecting a big run of UW picks over the next few rounds. Don't let me down otherwise I'll keep picking off UW guys who are falling further than they should

Also, does anyone have any questions about their UW picks from previous drafts?

You think he's a better WR prospect than Ty Jones?

Where does Marquis Spiker fit in going forward? Thought his film really popped before, do I expected big things from him.

Yes. Close though. Ty Jones had more upside but Puka Nacua is more of a sure thing.
So far Jones has a knack for making the spectacular catch and dropping the critical easy catch on 3rd down. Eason should help his numbers this year though.

In Round 4, Team Fib^2 selects:
Khris Bogle, OLB (DE) - Florida
Listed as a WDE recruit, but definitely undersized to be a DE in a 3-4, so pretty sure he's locked in as an edge rushing OLB in Grantham (recently retained for the exorbitant raise to $1.8M/year). While I'm not a fan of Todd Grantham's defense, one thing is certain... it tends to play favorites for OLB success.
Meanwhile, Bogle had more offers than he knew what to do with and I guess ultimately liked his path to success at UF over potentially getting lost in the shuffle at Alabama. Lot of talent, and didn't expect him to be available here.

I think he will be one of the top 3 receivers on the team this next year. He had really good reviews on the scout team and has reportedly clicked with Eason on the field. Petersen tries to redshirt as many Freshmen as possible, so the entire 2018 class redshirted. He came in a little thin, so a redshirt year was probably good for him. He's more talented than the guys currently playing, so it's just a matter of him learning the playbook. It doesn't help that Petersen runs this overly complex offense that takes WRs a couple of years to learn. After the season he did say that they were going to focus on simplifying it though, so we'll see.
