I like being at the beginning or end for sure. I like 24 better than 12. It feels good knowing you can grab two players back to back to stick to your plan

There are pros and cons to drafting at the ends or middle of snake drafts.
Drafting early: You get a really good player (or player you value highly) but have to wait a VERY long time to pick again. However, after that wait, you get to select two guys quickly.
Drafting in the middle: You never get the “back to back” picks like at the ends, but you get to select a player on a more common occurance. This allows you to target guys easier and not have to reach as much for players.
Drafting late: You don’t get one of the Elite players, but you can draft two players quicker than most.
And kudos Chill for already talking shite. I’ll look forward to putting you back into your place as you frick up the draft. fricking noobs.

Email me and I’ll keep your name in case someone drops out before we start or if we have a sopt open next year.
not sure what your email is, but we can worry about that at a later date. I'll follow the draft regardless because it's fascinating to me.

My last years draft won the Fulmer cup. about 6-8 of my picks are in jail, in trial, or off teams

How many of you guys were in the first year? I think I did it the first 4 years, but got too busy.
When did Dan stop and why? This was his baby.

I have been in since the first one in 2010. Changed handles since then but I remember doing the first draft sitting in class in high school

First, and did we really need another thUGA fan? Fib already snipes all my picks.

I'm a little bitter Chillmonster got in over me. By the time I was going to email you that Monday night the spot was already filled. At least Fib gives us solid representation.
Yeah... If I had to throw a vote in for a dawg in the future, DOT34 gets a solid "best UGA poster who isn't me who would likely be interested in this thing" vote from me.
I will reserve judgement on chillmonster, but his recent posts that I've seen were not encouraging on the crootin' board. Fortunately, this thread tends to be in good fun no matter what. I think of it a lot like the old WLIIA tag line... "where everything's made up and the points don't matter"

I just did a quick count and there are four of us left from the first go around. Didn’t you have an illness that bumped you out?
Last year was the first year Dan bowed out. Work and life became too much for him.

Yes, I did. Came very close to dying and spent more than a year in recovery. When it was all over I had moved on from recruiting. I pay attention now and then, but nothing like I did 6 or 7 years ago.

I knew it was serious, but didn’t know the extent. Glad to see you’re better and hopefully that continues. You’re always welcome to drop in from time to time here.

I'm ready, but at 15th, I'll be waiting a while.
