What is his injury?

Knee injury. I don't think it is overly serious, just something that needs a little more rehab and care.

We are bringing in EIGHT new players this year, that's just nuts. Nine if you want to count Bigby-Williams being eligible now.

I’ve mentioned this numerous times. Wade will have guys sitting at the end of our bench that would have been starters on some of those trent and johnny teams. If anything getting all these guys playing time could become an issue we have so much talent now.

Yeah.. I saw them eating breakfast at the Hilton yesterday morning. Had no clue who he was, but they talked basketball the whole time. Taz Mitchell was there with a few other coaches. Will Wade is an intense dude.

Breakfast at Hiltons--umh... Just curious: were you a paying customer? a waiter? or, given your name, supplier of MSG to restaurants?

That’s what happens when you bring in a hungry coach. Brown and Temple got Jones the job. Johnny never been a great coach and def not great recruiter .

So, a 2019 recruit who is already on campus and rehabbing his injury, integrating into the LSU program?

Genius.

He has the skills to be a big 2 and he can hit the 3 consistently. Would compliment the other signees perfectly. With Emmitt and Naz insde, Marlon and Days playing the 3 (not at the same time, obviously) Javonte' on point, Hyatt would be a great shooting guard in that particular lineup. That being said, we all know, Bigby-Williams and Tremont will undoubtedly be in the starting lineup. This will be an interesting season due to all the pieces Wade has to work with. He can go small, he can go large, a lot of flexibility with the lineup with the players he has coming in and that are still there. MAN!!!! I can't wait for Bball season to start!!!! I don't know if LSU's practices are open to the public, does anyone know if Wade allows people to watch his practices?

I'm not one that gets wrapped up in these star ratings, but sometimes I see a guy that's rated lower than he should be and it gets on my nerves. Hyatt has a composite 3 star rating, and that is a frickin' joke. This dude is a solid 4 star. Wade is an amazing recruiter, we know he can coach and strategize, lets hope he can bring championships to BR. It's gonna be interesting to see next seasons recruiting class.

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that he had an injury that basically kept him out this past year and caused his ranking to slip. Also he was supposed to be 2019 so didn’t have a chance to get it back up. I believe he was originally like a Top 100 kid before the injury.

Edit: He’s going to redshirt this year so wouldn’t project him with any of our current lineups.

There's a lot of highly rated players interested in LSU for the 2019 class. I know Wade will have 2 scholarships available but wonder if anyone will declare and leave early. I suppose Naz will leave and that's been what most have predicted. But I'm wondering if anyone else might leave early as well. I'm sure it depends on how the season goes. I believe there's a good chance Emmitt and Tremont will leave. I wouldn't think Mays will leave, but I didn't think Sampson would leave either. With so many highly rated players interested in LSU I just wonder if Wade will have the scholarships available if 4 or 5 want to go to LSU.
