Oh, ok, didn't know about the injury, thanks. Well, I was thinking LSU could really use his 3 point shooting, but with Tremont improving and with Edwards and Smart and Days, they may not need Hyatt's outside shot. From what I read about Hyatt, he mentioned that Wades philosophy regarding recruiting is to recruit offensive players and teach defense. Seems like this is a good strategy. I mean, if a guy can't shoot, it's hard to teach it. But defense is an attitude which is something that can be developed. It's going to be interesting to see what 2019 players he signs. There's quite a few on LSU's list I'd love to see in purple and gold. I may be insane, but I have a feeling Watford will be playing for LSU. Nothing I've read or heard, just intuition. Or could be wishful thinking.

I don’t see Emmitt leaving early. As impressive of an athlete as he is, he’s still a 6-6 PF.

I definitely don’t see Mays leaving . He has a completely different outlook than Sampson.

I think you’re right about Waters.

Reid is going pro unless something drastic happens. Emmitt is probably a two year player. Almost all of the guys that come from Emmitts AAU team stay 2 years. Plus he’s not even going to start.

I would be shocked if Tremont doesn’t leave. He basically put his name in this year to see what he needed to work on to be drafted next year.

There will probably be some attrition we don’t see coming as well.

I'm sure if a really good HS recruit wants to go to LSU and Wade doesn't have the scholarship available, he will find a way to make room. I mean, if one had to pick between Rachal and Hyatt, who would you pick? Same size, same athletic ability, but Hyatt is a better offensive prospect. Anyway, thanks for the input.

Agreed. Like you said about Wade’s philosophy on teaching shooters/scorers to play defense. I agree it’s easier than teaching a bad shooter how to shoot.

Never been to the PMAC so I may have to go this year.

I'm not always able to make every game each year due to travel. Hit me up at moneyshot225@gmail.com if you decide to go. I'm sure I can hook you up.

What could Wade be selling these guys one? It can't all be LSU basketball tradition.

We have had a lot of big names come thru the program. Wade himself With the high energy and the attention to detail has got get these kids excited when they see what we have to offer. I also think the staff has done an incredible job at figuring out who we might actually be able to get signed and concentrating on those guys.
