From what I have seen its usually the opposite the elite offensive lineman are likely to play multiple positions
It certainly *can* happen, if a top flight OT goes to a team with two locked in Seniors at OT for example, but they're too good to waste on the bench, but more frequently, it's what I added to my last comment. Coaches go after guys that have enough athleticism to possibly play OT... if they don't make it, they'll usually still work out at Guard... It's essentially the same logic, just timing/rationale is different. A guy that strictly projects to OG or OC, is highly unlikely to develop into an OT...

The OL switch is, and has never been a problem, unless it's completely blatant. Even having an OL guy go to DL has been done and is no problem. I have never argued the fact that every single OL drafted, had to be slotted in the position listed. If there was ever a discrepancy, I just asked for an article to be linked showing where that player would be shown to play that certain position in college. I'm even completely fine with a QB/DT being slotted at WR if there was sufficient evidence of that happening.
We all know the blatant attempts. It's been called out before and has been rectified. Except this year. Y'all can continue to discuss, but I'm not. There is no prize to be won here other than bragging rights. If someone feels the needs to take advantage of the rules to the fullest to draft their team, then so be it.
Thanks for the discussion on the matter though.

The question I ask myself is if I was the head coach where I would I a lot the kid. I watch the video and make a decision. In most cases I get it right. But I didn't see Travon McMillian being a RB. Or D'Eriq King being a WR. I brought them both in as QB.
Part of the fun for me is too find hidden gems. Yeah you can stack 5 OTs but it doesn't give credit to your expertise or talent eye. You just threw a bunch of them and eventually got a hit.
One of my favorite success stories wasn't even my player. I remember when the dude grabbed Manziel late. Nobody scoffed. I try to get that Manziel story this time in the draft.
But bottom line. An OC/OG/OT are different skills sets and are still interchangeable. I just draft where I would put them. But as Jem said I try to stay as close to what sites have them as possible. Not just throw shite and see if it sticks.

And to fill out my 22, I will take Alex Cook, WR, Washington.
I was trying not to take anymore UW guys, but I love this guy and I think he's going to be a fantastic WR. Couldn't pass him up to fill out my roster although now I have a pretty heavy Washington influence in my offense.

I've texted both boss and Pat to select since doc needs an OL player and neither one of them need that position.

Thanks. I liked his size for a 3- star OT. He looked a bit underrated to me.
