GCB selects:

RJ Potts, S, Cincinnati

I enjoyed watching this kid's film from his senior year. He played more corner and some wide receiver during his senior year and made plays at both places. He's destined to play safety at Cincinnati and it fits his skill set well. He's solid in coverage and isn't afraid to be physical either. He's the highest rated kid in Cincinnati's class and should emerge as a starter early in his career.

Let me grab another top notch All American RB while he is left on board

TPhan selects:

Todd Sibley RB Pittsburgh

At one point he was committed to Ohio State! I think had he stayed there he would have came off board 4-5 rounds earlier.

Hey Verlander, not sure how you slipped this by me but you have AJ Dillon listed at LB. Everything I see has him being a RB at BC. Where did you see he was going to be a LB?
He's listed as an athlete on 247 and if you read his profile it says RB/LB. He decommitted from Michigan because he wants to play RB but Harbaugh wouldn't guarantee that he would start him out on offense first.

I originally had him slated as my RB but I moved him when I discovered Taylor

Every article I've seen said Addazio loves him as a RB. Not sure if this is legit.

You did this before with James Conner a few years ago.

I'll be back in a few to update everything.

James Connor was listed by all the sites as a LB/DE and was recruited by most schools to play defense I knew Chryst would start him at RB though. Either way Dillon like Connor was legitimately recruited on both sides of the ball. If a guy was recruited at different positions its fair game to slot him at any of those positions.

What I did last year with the Stanford lineman Schaffer
was actually egregious. He was recruited by everyone on D but for some reason ESPN had him listed as a OL and I exploited that to take him at OL

Being recruited by schools to play LB and not signing there is different than being recruited to play RB and signing with that school. You're exploiting this again, IMO.

I disagree what I did last year was definitely exploiting the rules. This is not.

It's not even remotely a stretch to think Dillon who is already 240 could be moved to LB. He was recruited by many schools on D, BC gave him assurance that he would start out at RB. I think it's well within my "purview" to slot him at LB or RB.

I love how your justification for this is saying how you fricked us over last year.

I'll allow this because of Dan. He said although this is breaking the "spirit of the rule" it's not necessarily breaking the rule itself. I fully realize that a 6'1" 240lb player could play ILB, but this one will not. Oh well. You got us.

Why wouldn't you want him as your RB. Are you trying to pad heavy at RB and stash him at another spot?

This.

And I'd love to shut this down but it's technically within the rules because it does say ILB under his name on his profile. He Belicheck'ed the rule.

Jaylon Redd, WR Oregon.

Wanted to put him as corner but I don't think he can hold up due to size

It's just a matter of getting the best 22 for me.

In the past I have been 3WR/2RB offense. This year I'm 4WR/1RB if that 4th WR gets stolen from me I think I should be able to slot Dillon back at RB and draft a LB or even move Bimage(will be a 3-4 edge rusher in Texas defense) to LB and draft a DL.

All of this should be with in your purview as long as the player is recruited to play multiple positions. I think we all agree OL are a free for all trying to pinpoint tackles vs guards vs centers is useless.

He'd a been a great QB for your team Verlander.

After I drafted my two OTs, I was hoping this kid would fall through the cracks and I could grab him in the supp rounds. Great pick up TDawg.
