In Round 10, Team FibonacciSquared is going to go with a calculated gamble, selecting Omar Manning, Wide Receiver - TCU.

Ratings all over the map for this kid. 247 seems to dislike him a bit (340ish) but Scout loves him (top 100 guy and 11th overall receiver). From the film I see and the offer list, I'm going to have to lean towards 247 just didn't cover him much and likely should have been somewhere a little lower than his composite score... The offer list is pretty insane as well.

Really strong hands was one of the first thing I noticed. Contested catches or tough grabs and seems to pull them in with ease. Not a lot of routes, but in TCU's offense, I don't see that as being a huge limitation against early playing time and plenty of time to "branch out" that route tree if you will. Good size at 6'3" 200+ and pretty stupid large wingspan/catch radius. Good with the ball in his hands as well, handling kick duties and getting YAC. Going to be tough to crack the depth chart in year one just due to some of the upper classmen at TCU, but they lose 4 to graduation this year alone, and of the other guys on campus, I like his chances to see the field.

Jake Ferguson, TE 6'5 210 Wisconsin

He's kind of the opposite of Fibs guy, just barely out of the top 100 on 247 and #1 in Wisconsin, but #2 on the others in Wisconsin and 300 range. Either way, I wanted a top TE, had someone else planned and realized he was still available

OBUDan selects:

Langi Tuifua, LB, BYU

Don't usually take BYU kids, but this kid can flat out rush the passer. He's super lean at 6'3", 200 pounds but after his mission I bet they can get him up to 240-250 and make him a dominant rush LB. Love his ability to bend and his closing speed. He can play with his hand in the dirt. He can play standing up. He can do a little bit of everything.

Was essentially a coin flip for my last pick... Liked him as well. He's got upside as a possible safety if WR doesn't work out for him. My only knock on him was he's a little sluggish looking on film... slower football player than his 40 time would indicate at least. Depth charts for TCU and Texas were pretty similar too, so just made a judgement call. Will be interesting to watch.

Team DLD selects Brian Robinson RB Alabama. Robinson is a bigger back at 6'2 215. He looks like he will be a good receiver out of the backfield. His biggest weakness is his speed. Robinson definitely doesn't have elite straight line speed.

Najee Harris will definitely be the guy for Alabama, but I think Robinson carves out a nice role over the next few years maybe like a Kenyan Drake. He's a Tuscaloosa kid.

Manning or Miller is who I had in this round. You took Manning so Miller it was.
