2017 LSU Recruiting Priority List

Here is mine: Rules- Has to be uncommitted and LSU has to have offered and have a legitimate shot at landing:
Let me know what you think.
1. D. Moses- Pretty obvious here. Best player in the nation (arguably) at biggest position of need
2. M. Wilson- He is a total beast at and best int he nation at a position still of need considering LSU probably looses two starters at DT. Herron and Gilmore also wont be around much longer
3. K' Lavon Chaisson- This is a picture perfect fit for an OLB in Aranda's system. This system could make him a superstar. Not to mention another get from the state of Texas!
4. Todd Harris- Gotta lock up the #1 Safety in Louisiana. Need at least 2 or 3 in this class as LSU's depth at safety takes a hit after 2016 when we loose Jefferson and Adams. Battle will be a Sr.
5. Cam Akers- Really on the outside looking in right now. Would be a great feature back in LSU's downhill offense over the coming years once Guice and Fournette are gone. Would also allow LSU to not prioritize RB's for 2018
6. Jacoby Stevens- Incredible Athlete that can play WR and safety as needed. as mentioned with Harris- Safety Depth is a huge need.
7. Isaiah Buggs- with the addition of Farrell, moved down on the list a little. Still very huge need and can play anywhere on D-Line.
8. Will Ignot- Huge need for LB's and stealing one out of Alabama would be huge for this class.
9. Christopher Allen- Though really tough to read where he stands and seems bound to leave state, I would really love to see the top in state LB come to LSU. Cant say enough about how huge the need of LB's are in this class. I also think his hybrid edge rushing ability fits extremely well in Aranda's system.
10. Brad Stewart- I would like to see LSU land another 4 star CB in this class personally. You can never have enough depth here with all of the 5 and 6 DB sets they put out on the field against pass heavy offenses. I think they wish they would have offered him earlier to be in better contention, but with Vincent on board, not the biggest priority here.

8 out of the 10 are a big possibility....Akers is a uphill battle and Stewart maybe headed to the Swamp

I think we should male amik Robertson a priority also

Agreed, take those 8 plus a RB...call it a class. GT!

I do not see Akers, Stewart and Allen in this class... I hope I'm wrong.

Thanks for the inform...I think we have a better chance to get rb Fabian Franklin from Hattiesburg in the 2018 class from miss vs Cam Akers, and I would say the Swilling bros should end up with us but u never know.Chris Allen is one that I want because he will be the type of linebcker tht changes other lb recruits view of the program. We have had solid lb play last year and before that bt we have to have tht linbcker tht stand out in the bama, ark, and ole miss type of games.

Yea Amik is one I want to see lsu offer,he just seem hungry and I know he will represent the boot properly.

Like to see the Swilling brothers commit to us too, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them leave the state.

I'd put Will Ignont much higher on the list. ILB is a huge need and he's easily the best one on our board. We may have to settle for Akileis Leroy if we strike out on Ignont. We're loaded at every other position on defense.

Where does the Swilling that plays corner fit into this DB class?

Shea just CB Allen to bama.

I think we have 18 commits. The players that are high on our board it seems are:
1. Marvin Wilson
2. Dylan Moses
3. Isaiah Buggs
4. Christopher Allen
5. Will Ignont
6. K'Lavon Chaisson
7. Todd Harris
8. Jacoby Stevens
9. Phidarian Mathis
10. Cam Akers
11. Adrian Ealy
12. Swilling brothers
Obviously we aren't going to sign all of them but if we sign most of these guys listed above, then it will be a great finish to the class.

ISN'T BUGGS A 2018 RECRUIT???

1. Dylan Moses
2. Marvin Wilson
3. Isaiah Buggs
4. Todd Harris
5. Adrian Ealy
6. K'Lavon Chaisson
7. Will Ignont
8. Someone out of Left Field or Amik Robertson
I also think it's possible LSU parts ways with a current commitment or two, as this has happened over the last several classes with some early commitments.

Allen should be higher and Mathis should replace Stewart but other than that, that's a solid assessment

Will Ignont is a high priority for me, personally.
My girlfriend went to his high school and may finally start rooting for LSU out of interest instead of obligation.
Personal reasons aside, the last LB we got out of Alabama turned out pretty well. And we definitely need LBs.

Need LBs. Patrick Queen does not seem to be a lock to stay in this class.

I wish one of these linebackers would just go ahead and pull the trigger already. It's our biggest need and I'd feel a lot better about the class as a whole. I know we're in a good position for some top guys, but the wait is mind fn' me.
Used to be like this with the big boys in the trenches until O and Grimes. We need Moses, ignot and Chiasson in this class. (Hopefully, Bruce Jordan-Swilling, as well) I would add Allen, but i just dont see that happening.
