Micah's younger brother. Would love to see this kid suit up in purple and gold one day. I think he's more physically gifted than his brother, faster, ball hawk and flat out hard hitter. All around great versatile defensive back.

Most don't know about Eugene yet, but they soon will as he is one of the more gifted skill position players in the state. The younger brother of LSU defensive back Micah Eugene, Malik is regarded by many to be an even better athlete than his brother.

NOLA has him at 5'11" 175 lbs as of recently. I watch him one game last year, he's a good size kid and showed some serious skill for only being a sophomore at the time.

I agree with 337Cajun, the kid is one of the best DB's I have seen.

I was impressed by his highlight video. He's not afraid of contact at all and deceptively fast

Any thoughts on his teammate Bry'Keithan Mouton?

I got a good look at him too. He was physically bigger and stronger than every other kid on the field, 6'3" 240 lbs I believe I saw on NOLA. He looked like a legit hands skilled receiver and blocked like a dominate tackle. But like some scouts are saying he could transition to defensive end....I saw him run some downs at D end and honestly he looked even better there. We're out our minds if we don't offer him
Since Acadiana's veer offense is majority power run style, Bry'Keithon doesn't get many passes his way, probably why it's hard to find video on him. I think he's ranked so high on so many sites because he's just a freak athlete, but if they gave him more looks he would surely display more and be ranked way higher IMO

He plays (dare I say it) a lot like TM does. Really loose, fast, aggressive, looks to have a nose for the ball, he's slightly undersized.
I hate to say lightning will strike twice, but the kid looks like a gamer.

Fruitful and good genes. I like this family.
