Nice to see a Karr boy want to and commit so early.

Here is a quote from an old article on Isiah Washington:

"When you are born and bred you wake up to a whole experience of Tigerland," Washington said. "When you're growing up it's always LSU, LSU or Tulane. When you have spirit days everybody comes with LSU. On Saturday night's everybody is watching LSU. It's a big part of our tradition down here to support LSU."

"I was expecting an offer coming in," Washington said about his expectations going into junior day. "If I didn't get it, no big deal. I was just going to work harder. When it did come, I was really excited about it. I mean, it's LSU.

Washington traveled with his parents with the hope of giving the whole family an inside look at the program. When it came time for a decision, though, they left it up to him.

"They said that if I committed to LSU, it was all on me," he said. "They said it was my decision. They like the academic part of the program and their high graduation rate. I mean, they have everything I could want. They are a national caliber program and I'm going to be with my brothers; Donnie Alexander and all them guys."

It's clear that Washington rode the wave of excitement leading to a commitment. What is also clear is that he absolutely loves him some LSU and he is eager to spread the word to other prospects throughout New Orleans.

"The boot is zipped up," Washington said when asked how he plans to help recruit in New Orleans after a tough 2014 cycle. "LSU is home. Nobody else is going to take care of you like LSU will. It's that simple. There ain't nobody like your home team baby."

Pretty sure he's the one I saw tearing shite up on Gerald Willis film and wondering who the hell that was.

First time I saw the Willis highlights I thought the same "Who is #91?" Can't wait to see him perform as the leader of the line this year at Karr. He looks like a great athlete

Hope Chavis would give a look at some of these tweener DE's like Washington, Deondre Clark, and Teuhema as possible bigger more physical LB's. Tired of seeing 205 lb LB's.
