I don't know how to link a thread on an iPad, but there is an article about Emmanuel mudiay on cbs sports that mentions Jordan Mickey. He was granted eligibility because he had already qualified due to his course load prior to prime prep. He had to get a waiver in the NCAA clearinghouse and basically they didn't count a single class from prime prep.
I know it's not recruiting related but I didn't want to start a thread without a link, so I brought it here in case anyone wanted to.

Prime Prep

What defenders of Prime Prep might point out is that Prime Prep alums Jordan Mickey and Karviar Shephard enrolled at LSU and TCU last year and were cleared academically, and that's true. But a source told CBSSports.com that both players needed a waiver to get through the Eligibility Center, and that their waivers were only considered because both had done enough academic work before enrolling at Prime Prep to meet the waiver threshold. The source added that neither Mickey nor Shephard ultimately relied on even a single course from Prime Prep to attain initial eligibility.

Any idea if Dickerson is playing in the Peach Jam?
ETA: It looks like Dickerson's GA Stars aren't in the Peach Jam.

Anybody know what's happening with Mark Vital? He was supposed to go to prime prep but i guess that's in question now

He's quite a good PF. I wonder how close he is to Simmons?

We offered Floroda PF Noah Dickerson today... He's buddies with Ben Simmons so we have a shot at him.
Edit: just saw this was already brought up. Whoops.

Does this offer mean anything as far as Alex Owens' recruitment? I know there's some talk that the staff cooled off on Owens.

Dickerson is a step above Owens

LSU is still interested in Owens, but he's not the top guy on the board.

he's still in play but a guy like dickerson is a higher priority

I think we could take both. I think Dickerson is more of a 5 anyway. 5 man class. We lose Odo, Jarell, and Jordan, giving us 5 spots. Potential class could be
Guards: Sampson, Lott
Forwards: Australian Jesus, Owens
Centers:Dickerson
That class would be our 2nd top 10 in 3 years.

Not sure Lott is going to LSU. He is high on SMU,
Wichita State and Creighton

JMO but not a big loss if that happens, he's not starting material in a big conference.
I also wasn't impressed with Alex Owens at the EYBL Peach Jam, in fact I think he ended up going from starting to coming off the bench as the tournament went along. I think we need to go really hard after Dickerson, he is a difference maker ala JOB III. Owens would just be a 10-15 minute type of game guy to me.

I know that Coach Brown, Coach Sampson, Coach McDermett, Coach Ford, and Coach Drew have all been to see him in Shreveport. He must be pretty good to have been offered from all those programs.Saw him play a lot. He can go.

I'd like to see Lott in this class. It won't be a huge deal if he isn't though and I do wonder if the staff doesn't have a couple other PG's as bigger priorities. I do think the staff wants to take a PG in each class.
