And based on what he's said, LSU's staff wants him to bulk up to around 250 and be a stronger PF/C like JOB is.

i think he's always been near the top of our board for this class regardless of some of the other bigger fish in the pond.

Unless LSU suddenly gets in on someone through McCray or Patrick has another Aussie we don't know about, I can't imagine a whole lot of new guys popping up.

On my phone, otherwise I'd check myself. What's the info on him?

I can't find a single thing on him

All-Tournament Team (In alphabetical order)
Johnny Benson, 6-3, Sr., WG, Milwaukee South Division
Benson is a wiry, athletic and active wing prospect who took the ball to the basket and finished at a high rate for South Division. The top returning scorer at 12.6 ppg for coach Ty Moseler, Benson is also an effective defender because of his lateral quickness, length and aggressiveness.

Highlights? Any other offers?
Are we going after another wing in case Mickey loses his appeal?

While Kentucky is the only school on Victor's list which hasn't offered him a scholarship, many left the gym on Thursday believing that the Wildcats are the leader. Victor wouldn't confirm that rumor, but he did nothing to contest that report. "Even though they haven't offered me yet, I'm looking forward to Coach Calipari coming to watch me play," said Victor, once considered an LSU lean. "He came to the school after my high school season and talked to me, so if they weren't interested he never would've visited. He actually said exactly that on the visit." "It's every kid's dream to have the opportunity to go to a place like that and play," Victor said. "I just want to work hard and have that type of opportunity. Anyone that's playing this game that doesn't want to make it to the league one day, I mean, I don't even know why they're even playing."
Victor continuing to beg for a UK offer but at least it was thought that we led at some point.

The more I look at the Victor situation the less and less confident I get.
I think the move to Findlay was not obly competition/exposure, but for UK to see him there.
If UK offers he is theirs and you cant fault a guy for going there if the NBA is his ultimate goal.
I believe this year's basketball season is going to be huge for program stability in terms of bringing in Top-10 classes every year.

This dude's twitter is diseased. The tweets, the pics, everything. It's just a big grab bag of red flags.

Apparently Bubba's got a new story out on Thompson.
Pulled from twitter.

I just read it. We'll see how it goes. It's quite a long way from signing day.

He does have to keep in the back of his mind UK is possibly not the best (school) option for the NBA as well. What if UK pulls in another class like this year's class? He could easily get lost in the shuffle and sit behind a couple 5-star kids. He's an immediate starter at LSU (and many other schools for that matter). At UK he might only get 10-15 minutes a game his first year there. Heck there's no guarantee he wouldn't end up like a Jon Hood or Kyle Wiltjer there. Superstars coming out of high school who couldnt really get starter minutes there.
UK already has 1 5-star big man commit for 2014. Also highly unlikely all 3 of their 5-star big man commits from this year's class are all 1 and dones too.

I thought the same thing as well when I saw the thread title, I didn't get to read the article as I am no longer a member of Scout. Maybe he is wanting to see what else is out there and collect some offers, instead of everyone just assuming its LSU. We see it happen all the time in football.
