How big of a recruiter is he with Atlanta, and how is he connected? Interesting hire for you guys. We are after a PF in Atlanta named Phil Cofer, will be interesting to see if you guys go after him now.

Thanks

He was the Head Coach of the Atlanta Celtics which his father started. Atlanta Celtics, even if you are a casual sports fan you should have heard about them, or know players that have been with them:
Xaiver Whipple - LSU
Joe Johnson - Arkansas - Hawks/Nets
Travis Outlaw - NBA
Josh Smith - Atlanta Hawks
Dwight Howard -
Darius Washington - Memphis/NBA
Javaris Crittenton -
Howard Thompkins - UGA
Andrew Goudelock - Lakers
Chris Singleton - Florida State

One of the AAU programs in the country that just by being on the team gurantees you a college scholly somewhere.
Basically he runs Atlanta basketball

Is a major pull, and might be just as important as any recruit LSU got this year which might sound crazy, but trust me it is a major find.

He also has ties now with Southern California recruiting, and is huge on the national AAU scene.

Watch some new 2014 guys begin to get recruited.

Last but not least Craig Victor

2013 PG Randy Onwuasor will decide on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (PT). He is choosing between #LSU and #TexasTech.

Hornsby would be a very nice pull. Too bad he will have to sit out a year, but still a good looking prospect.

I know you can only give out 13 schollies. But if Onsuwar were to choose LSU, and Hornsby wante to come along as well. Could we take both being that Hornsby would only be able to play in 2014. Both are takes and Onsuwar I think could find a niche on this year team. Any help from SoS or O?

He would still take up a scholarship for 2013 while being ineligible. Only way he could not use a scholly was if he walked on.

My bad, meant to update at noon but got caught at work.

It looks like we're down to Hornsby or Er.

I haven't heard any reports on Hornsby's official that ended yesterday. Hoping we can pull him. He would be a perfect replacement for Stringer.

Victor is at the NBA top 100 camp this weekend and is telling media he is waiting on a Kentucky offer. Basically if they offer, Kentucky will be his favorite. If Jarell Martin is not one and done, that helps LSU's chances.

Some of the quotes in that article rub me the wrong way. Kid seems a little full of himself. With or without Victor I think this class will be solid. I've always kindve thought he was a little overrated myself. I want Oubre and Exum and have a feeling James Thompson will be a stud at the next level.

Just a question to stir up some discussion
If CJJ is able to get Hornsby or McClellan to sign on for 2014-2015 how man does LSU take in the 2014 class and do we sign another guard.
Not trying to brag but as I predicted Dominic Magee is shooting up the rankings.
Guards
Davell Roby?
Doominic Magee?
Exum is a take no matter what, but means probably a big is gone.

Magee doesn't even have an offer though. Could still get it though.

All aboard the Hornsby train.
