Is Bolden a legit possibility or just someone people are talking about due to Patrick's aussie connections at this point?

We made his top 8. Will know soon how seriously he is considering LSU.

But our biggest need is now a SF. He fits that mold perfectly. Only other SF we've offered is Ryan Skovranko.

If they do accept his commitment, then that means the coaching staff expects a lot of people leaving (which I'm not a fan of).

I didn't say were back yet and as for Victor the only reason I wanted him at lsu was for name recognition only to maybe help bring in other guys.Victor will be a role player at best next year and at zona.

Me either. Truly I'd be 100% okay not having Reynolds, but if he commits, then I'm assuming he has spoken with the coaching staff and it's what they want. We shall have to see. I dont really see us getting Exum or Bolden but I'd gladly accept either of them over Reynolds.

You can never count this staff out, while I figure Exum is out of play.I truly believe we have a shot at Bolden I bet a lot of people didn't think there was a shot with Simmons especially this early in the process. And yes some will say but Dave is his Godfather

Actually, early on, most people thought Simmons was LSU's to lose. As the big boys came in, people started to question it, but it started very pro-LSU. I hope we get Bolden, but Im not holding my breath.

He commits to St. Louis as expected.

Class is done for early period and likely year unless major attrition or Bolden/Exum wanting to hop on.

So how big of a loss is this? Having a hard time keeping up with our recruiting for next year. Is our class really missing much without him?

Not a huge loss I think Patterson and Reynolds are pretty much equal talents. IMO Reynolds just waited too long to get on board. The staff definitely preferred him over some other players that signed elsewhere. In the end Johnny always gets his man

Not a loss at all. His talent is comparable to Patterson. We're probably done with this class unless someone like Bolden or (please God please) Exum wants in.

I'll always appreciate Miles father for his CNBC 'LSU shoutout', he's a respected mutual fund analyst, and mentioned of the trip he and Miles made to BR, for the USCe game last year. Gave monster kudos to LSU's Tigerstadium atmosphere, and to Coach CJJ and staff.
