i dont think they get either.
SC's already got 2 RB's committed for next year's class and it would be a complete clusterfrick of a logjam if they sign more. but hey, they could pull it off and piss off those same committed RB's.

they're selling the whole reggie bush thing to him, but heck, that angle's gotta be up on mileage eh? thing is, chow's utilization of bush was masterful, but we haven't seen mcknight get used in that manner his first two years. i dont see how they keep on using that as a recruitment tool when the architect is across town.

lake isn't bush though. he's fast like bush, but he's not the stop-start, east-west guy that bush was
mcknight was more like bush (even though he's not super fast). he just can't stay healthy or hold onto the ball
i think lache is a perfect fit for a true zone-read spread option team

I don't think Russell Shepard will be sold more than he ever will be when Reed and Seastrunk take their LSU visits.
I'm sure Reed will be at most of the games.

btw, this next class could have a heavy texas flavor to it, too. would be nice to pick up a few top 20 players from here again.

THANK YOU TAMU FOR HIRING MIKE SHERMAN

I don't mind it, because La is always top heavy. It's funny to me to see alot of fans starting to say that "Les Miles is losing his grip on La."

I can see LSU getting Trovon Reed, Lache Seastrunk, Tony Hurd Jr, and Shaun Lewis in next years class. All play need positions at LSU, and all have said they wouldn't mind playing at the same school.
Trovon Reed - WR
Lache - RB
Tony - CB
Shaun - LB

Shaun - LB

especially if we pick up the DeSoto kids, Dallas Skyline kids, Hurd, Wood, Lache, Killins, Shaun Lewis, could get a few Texas kids.

Reed. There's rumors of him going to play his Sr. year in Texas. I'm not sure if that's been confirmed yet or not.
That was debunked as bogus I believe.

Do we have a shot at Jackson Jeffcoat?

I think he is a Longhorn. However since his dad is a assistant coach at the University of Houston I wouldn't put it past him to go there if his dad stays there.
Or who knows Lane Kiffin might fire Ed Orgeron and hire his dad so they can get his commitment.

Yes and I understand he is not interested in LSU
You have been extremly mistaken. I'll talk to him this weekend and keep informed. The whole Texas high school thing is rediculous. He is all Thib High!

I hoping to get some nice lineman and LB's from Texas. They are loaded in those areas and won't be able to get them all. Especially since UT will have a small OL class this year.

We are gonna pull some bigtime Olineman out of Texas next year. Washington, Thompson, Lindsay and Espinosa are there for the taking. Surprised DD left Rashad Givens, Dillon Day and Risean Broussard off of his list.

those two RB's also look really similar to lache. i think they'd have a better shot if one of them was a bruiser, i really don't see how they can sign 3 highly rated speed backs in one class
