IMO bama gets 3, maybe 4...with LSU possibly offering 2 of them in broadway and charpentier.

broadway
mcknight
ashburn
charpentier

3 out of 4 being JC kid. Shocker. McKnight is obviously not nearly as good as his brother. I'm thinking 3*. Not sure about the other 2. any good?

If Broadway is #1 on their board, then I'd be willing to say that it may not be so easy for Alabama to pull him.

if he signed 4 from LA, that's a lot of slots used from LA alone (all seem to be on the track to qualify)

that was my next post. these numbers that they are signing are going to have to drop sooner or later. Will he sacrifice quality in his own state just to get a foot here? Be it John Curtis or not, it still says he came into Louisiana on paper.

he'll play nice with JC to keep that open (for publicity and the awesome kid they produce every 3-4 years)

now does he get ALL of them? wow that's a big commitment (3 guys)

mcknight has the name, so i think he's a lock. even if he sucks, he'll always be "joe mcknight's brother"

some guy claiming to be an insider who had a connection with skip said that broadway's mom is now in charge of his recruitment, i think before, his head coach had a big hand in it. same people say that if mom has her way, then TB will stay close to home.

this one won't be over even if he makes an early commitment either way.

One storyline with Reed that looks like it can be put to bed is a possible transfer to Houston Second Baptist. Reed was considering a move to the private school, which also features top quarterback prospect Connor Wood, but he's recently decided to stay at Thibodaux High School.

"I can't do that to my team," Reed said.

good news on broadway since his coach sounded shady as hell. Still it really all depends on what happens with shepp, which I doubt will be any more clear next year.

So what's the feel on Reed? What have you guys read that I may not have? Besides in-state pressure, anything else would direct him to LSU?

Obviously only signing one wr this year helps, especially missing out on debose we need a speed guy like him.

is reed goin to be a legit national recruit (on his end, is he goin to look) or is it going to be regional (UT/LSU/Bama/UTenn/UF)?

That's the one negative about being a smaller state.

While many kids are home grown and love LSU from birth, others are turned off by the severe pressure to go to LSU. We just have to take the good with the bad. It's usually more good though so I'm content.
