For the record, that's not my prediction. That is the ideal finish the staff is aiming for.

Whereas a more realistic finish might look something like;
1. Lee
2. Ward or other cb
3. Scrambling for quality guys who got left at the alter.
4. Graduate transfers and Juco
5. An unexpected happy surprise / guy drops in your lap
6 Somebody in state who is on the cusp
I think this staff is going to have a very busy January.

A lot of people don’t pay attention to recruiting for 10 months out of the year, then read a few rivals articles and think they know exactly how our class will end up.

Exactly why I only believe what Vol says. He is usually right on point, one time he was wrong and everyone blew their load and started bashing him bc an 18 yr old kid was unpredictable.

There are like three guys who have PROGRAM level information. Those are the only guys I listen to. Anybody can know a players family and have info on that particular kid.

With current transfer environment I leave at least 1 spot...sometimes more in every class.
It’s the closest thing to free agency and much better than a late reach just to sign your allotment.
Unexpected injuries in spring that decimate a position group for example...you can hit the transfer market.
Last year was probably a bit of an outlier with how well that deal worked out with the 3 late adds.
This team would have 2-3 more losses without Tracy and Burrow in particular imo.

I don’t personally think it’s meaningless, and have posted that it’s an important game for LSU and Orgeron. However there have been 50 threads on half the boards on this site talking about what a meaningless game it is: pointless, exhibition, practice game, etc.
