Started last night when may have had one to many bourbons and went into details with my run ins with Sam Pettito. I know I went into wayyyy more detail on exactly how we lost Smitty and Sopsher than I should’ve. Actually Very glad they caught it quick, I would have some answering to do. So was blocked apparently 24 hrs. Tonight was just letting you guys know who may/may not visiting this weekend and during week. Apparently afew names are not
supposed to be leaked, again my bad.

We have to save at least 2 spots for the portal if not 3
It depends. If all that is available is 3 stars, then yeah, let's save the spots for the transfer portal
On the other hand, if you can fill out your class with high four-star and five-star players, then go for it and fill out your class.

Barring a big jump from the OL returning after this year, we will be very thin going into the 2022 season at that position group. Roster management will be key.
Not really. We are going to lose four offensive linemen after 2021. However, we already currently have four offensive linemen committed to this class and LSU will probably have five offensive linemen (Julian Armella) in this class when all is said and done. So at the very least we will be about in the same shape as we are this year.
Now we will be losing four starters, but Bradford will more than likely be the right guard, Turner will more than likely be the center, then I think Emery Jones when he arrives will be an instant starter at left guard and if he is not, then one of the other six backup guards will earn that spot. Cameron Wire will be the the returning starter at left tackle. Then finally, Will Campbell, Garrett Dellinger, and Marcus Dumervil will all compete for the right guard spot and then if we get Julian Armella, then also add him to that competition.
Hence, I feel like we will have a pretty decent offensive line in 2022, especially if the backups get to play some during mop up time this season.

Aaron anderson isn't going anywhere.
I hope you are right, but Aaron Anderson is the recruit Mike Scarborough is worried about losing the most. He says Nick Saban and others are trying to flip him. Mike Scarborough also says Mickey Joseph needs to work him every day as if he is uncommitted.

You are wrong on both.
I don't think I am. Nonetheless, it was an educated guess at most.

It would be nice if this same mod could update the pinned thread at the top of this board or let Crown create his own pinned thread.

Anthony Lucas should be on this list

Appreciate your post regarding recruiting strategy and visits. Hope we can hold on to those we really want and want to be on the class. Thanks

I wish they would let me. I tried that one time to get everything pinned but they like it how they like it. I would do exactly what the Bama board uses.

Man... if we can land all the Louisiana targets--Jones, Wiggins, Law, Preston, and Moss--throw in Azareyeh Thomas and maybe one or two more big-ish names, then round out with some late-risers or secondary options... that's a hell of a class. I'd like to add a LB and maybe another CB and i'd be comfortable in saying that that's a very well-rounded group.

There are 2 current commits unlikely to be in our final class
This is just a little bit spooky to me. I really hope we don't lose Anderson, but that seems to be one that makes sense to get sniped.
Unless and until there's another seismic shift in CFB playstyle, i want us bringing in 4 stud passcatchers in every class. Right now, i'm confident in jake johnson, aaron anderson, shazz preston, and one of the two of decoldest and AJ Johnson, so i would really like to hang onto all those guys.
Would also hurt big time to lose JaDarian Rhym, given that we need CB depth and don't really have any in this class.

The 3 nola guys, Anderon, Hill, and AJ Johnson are all guys i would watch. Anderson being poached, and the other 2 seem to have lost some steam

Anderson still solid. Florida St. making big impression on 1 current commit, Saban aggressive in recruiting 4 La. guys. Nothing eminent, but always a chance we loose 1 or 2 current commits. Depending on seasons they have, probably 1 or 2 mutual agreement losses will occur.Coach O has some very solid plans that they are keeping “warm” if we lose 1 or 2 guys. From Saturday night learned we have 80/20 chance for top 100 Texas kid,”slight lead for another” and 2 others can go a varios amount of ways, we will fight till the end. I can name Azareya Thomas from Florida as a Tiger, unless Florida does some serious voodoo during his time at their FNL. There were a “few” kids that are committed to other teams visit this weekend and other varios kids visiting during this week. Obviously those names not openly being discussed, just know that flips occur yearly and they love their chances on 2 or 3. This info is valid today and can change on a dime. Overall a top 5 team is almost guaranteed, top 3 probable.

Thanks for the info. If there are open spots at WR, Evan Stewart would obviously be a guy we would want. I’d have to imagine Armani Winfield, that’s committed to TX, is another guy we would go after. Seems to have a good relationship with Walker Howard.

Hopefully Shazz will commit soon

Thanks for the update Iota. Any info on DL targets?

Thanks for update, Iota.
Assuming the ’80/20 chance for top 100 Texas kid’ would have to be one of the following:
> Harold Perkins,
> Omari Abor, or
> Evan Stewart,
Correct? (respond with “Geaux Tigers” if correct, please sir)….
