LSU lock

Texas is kinda dropping in the DBU rankings. FSU making a strong push w/ Ramsey and Rhodes heading their secondary. LSU still wins out, though.

If he signs with Texas or UF I'm going to lose it.

Watch out for Texas.
His teammate and close friend committed there (Mike Williams). Dunham teacher told me today they have been hitting him hard. Saban has not been on campus since January/Feb.

How does Stingley Jr compare to PP7 coming out of HS?

The thing no one questions is the ability of Derek Stingley Jr., who is drawing comparisons to former LSU star Patrick Peterson and others.
What has he done to garner such comparisons? As a junior, Stingley had 64 tackles, 11 interceptions and six pass breakups, earning Class 2A all-state and All-Metro honors. But there is more than football. He loves math and has taken trigonometry. Pre-calculus is next this fall.

Spiegs tidbit from passing & lineman camp
quote:
Derek Stingley Jr. returned to LSU for the first time since the Tigers’ spring game in April. Since then, the 5-star cornerback has made official visits to both Texas and Florida, and will announce his decision from those three schools on Wednesday, June 20 at 1:30 p.m. CT on Twitter. Multiple members of the LSU staff spent time seizing up the 6-foot-1, 193-pound defensive back, including secondary coach Corey Raymond, defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, safeties coach Bill Busch and, of course, head coach Ed Orgeron. Stingley was an alpha at the tournament on both sides of the ball, showing off his elite athleticism and incredible vertical abilities with his Dunham (La.) High School teammates. It is worth noting that Stingley made his way back to LSU before announcing his decision, another positive sign for the Tigers.

He’s all LSU. Can’t wait to see this stud opposite from Fulton and or Greedy Williams next season, it’s gonna be insane!
